I have played through a couple of times with a rogue and mage..
Moved onto a complete **** of a reaver warrior now for shizz and giggles, who just riles everyone up and is generally a nasty piece of work.. however.. she hates Anders so had pity sex with him at the beginning of Act 2 (mainly for RP reasons, she wanted to know how *much* of Justice was there lol).
The next morning picked the 'get out, it was rubbish' or so called line.. (which was genious for this character btw Bioware!)
Completed Questioning Beliefs and Fen's personal quests and she decided she might actually have feelings for the elf after all (dagnamit).. got it on everything went as normal..

Did Avelines quest.. Anders, Izzy and Fen with me talking to her.. Aveline asks how 'Hawke and ANDERS' relationship works O_O (died on the spot from a RP point of view)

On a normal point of view is this glitched or do you think it might be messed up.. he still clicks as 'i enjoy following you etc'  like normal romance.. but ugh.. I couldnt find any bugs like this noted before...

Anyone? (poor Fen.. i almost died inside for Hawke myself when Aveline said this) 'Oh no she didnt!!'...

Thanks in advance peeps

**edit - i should note, have done the Fendeed and he has split up as usual at this point..

i think you are stuck with anders actually. the fenris romance turns off as soon as you sleep with one of the other companions.

*Imagines scene of Anders glowing tied to a bed sprouting green ooze from his mouth and screaming "your mother sucks **** in hell!", goes back to work*

Don't give Fenris to Danarius just because you messed up your chances by having sex with Anders. Don't care how uncaring your character is, Danarius is an absolute slimeball. If you don't want Fenris around then just tell him to leave.

Actually if you broke it off immediately after sex with Anders, it ought to be possibe to move onto Fenris but it seems he is bugged and if you sleep with anyone else, even if you break it off immediately, the Fenris romance is sunk. However, some posters claim to have had sex with all four characters and finished off with Fenris but either they're lying or it works differently depending on whether you are PC or Console. I am on PC with the latest patch 1.03 and to date I have been able to flirt outrageously with every character and have a successful relationship with Fenris but sex with anyone else is a passion killer.
If anyone knows how to overcome this without tinkering outside of the game, I would really appreciate it.

Oh Gervaise, get over it. Why wouldn't a total cold-hearted douchebag sell him? Because you think it's mean? Kinda the point, no?

I would at the point of the game it was. I mean in real life. Kinda proves I'm a douchebag in RL I guess, but to be honest the only time I came to respect him was when he told me the history of how he survived in Seheron.

That said when he told me that my respect went from "gah the whiny **** again" to "my knife eared bro' " so...I don't think I would be able to leave him now unless i force my hand to do it (as curiously enough I had to force my hand not to the previous playthrough)

Keeping in mind that the only thing I saw on Fenris is all the insults directed to the people that was born like my sister, experiences with the Tevinter or not, he should have to handle his hatred with more class not to offend people, so he was more a douchebag than I was, or that's what I keep telling me.

"Why wouldn't a total cold hearted douchbag sell him?" Self interest. Apart from a game glitch which inadvertently could give you benefits, if you are role playing the story, a non-mage Reever has more to gain from keeping Fenris than selling him out.

If you are a mage it might make sense. You already enjoy hero status in Tevinter over killing the Arishok (assuming that you did), so currying favour with a member of the ruling council could be a smart move should you be forced to flee Kirkwall as you will already be in a good position to advance up the hierachial ladder.

If you are a non-mage should you flee to Tevinter or should Tevinter take over in Kirkwall, you will always be a second class citizen. I assume that the Reever is aiming for the top and at present the best way to gain the top spot is to curry favour with the Templars and local nobility, neither of which will shed any tears over the death of Danarius and should such an act become known might well increase your standing still further. Since Danarius is acting in his own interests and is trying to save face back home in recovering his precious slave, it is quite likely that it won't appreciably alter your status with the other Magisters should you need to deal with Tevinter in future in your role of Vicount, since they would probably be glad to see the back of Danarius too - no love lost between Magisters.

Whilst for some reason the writers didn't see fit to have any companions actually leave you over selling out Fenris, it is hardly likely to make them have confidence in you in the future and technically should make their loyalty far less certain. (This should be true but because of game mechanics by this stage of the game it is likely not to make too great a difference to what happens in Last Straw but then I don't know the current status of the companions with that character),

Fenris is a useful person to have around even if you don't have any feelings of loyalty to him personally. Defending him against Danarius is going to improve your status with him. If he ultimately does not demonstrate loyalty to you over this at the end of the game, then you can kill him.

Whilst Danarius promises to reward you for your actions, in reality the reward is negligible or non existant (I can't remember which), which is hardly surpising since once he has what he wants and is out of Kirkwall, he has no need to honour his bargain.

Hence my saying that selling out Fenris, just because you weren't able to have sex with him and are a cold hearted person, to a slime ball like Danarius is a bad idea. There are two ways of playing an evil coldhearted character - with intelligence or as a fool. Whilst I don't like playing evil, if I did, I would be no fool.

Nah it did actually work out.. i think it was a bug with the dialogue for Aveline to be fair.

Also the way it all worked out from a RP point of view, it also made the character out to be the complete idiot she actually is haha - somewhere in amongst it all, Fen and her had  a*huge* row about it haha
