I'll tell you who I don't want to be, Nathan Drake, it's fun to play as him but with those wall climbing and jumps I wouldn't want to be him.

The choices aren't particularly tempting.

Shepard...nah, I'd either be stressed from all the combat, or a retired war hero with nothing to do but read fornax.
Hawke wants to be a dragon - I'm good, thanks.
Alex Mercer...tempting. Too much baggage, though. Killing one person is abominable enough, but he's killed countless just to feed his own power.
Kratos is suicidal, killed his own wife and daughter, his grandfather, his dad, and pretty much everyone else in greek mythology. I'd love the power, but would I want to be him? No.
The Warden, maybe. But it's not a particular fantasy of mine.

You know who I would like to be? The Doom Guy.

I have no guilt. My only motivation is to survive through killing everything through hilariously overpowered weaponry like plasma cannons and chainsaws. With the right words, I can even be godlike in power, so I have no fear of death. I fight the enemies of hell itself and save the world. I am death incarnate.

Seriously? I'm not gonna lie, Link. I'd explore all over Hyrule, and see what lies beyond the map. Or Vyse, from Skies of Arcadia, for similar reasons (though we know what lies beyond the map in that)

Actually, I changed my mind after realizing one better than Doom Guy. One I should have thought of before posting the original one: Jackie Estacado.

Unholy tentacles that impale my foes, creep up on them, you can even have the darkness digest human hearts. There will be regret and pain... but some choices are worth that price. There's something so sinister and loathsome about this character... I mean, all of this. Dear lord. I typically avoid gorey games, but... alright, I'm rambling. Jackie's my new choice. Done.
