 I've tried this on Windows 7. If you accidentally overwritten a save game and want to retrieve it, simply go to "C:\\Users\\hp\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Characters\\(Player Profile Name)\\Saves", go to the save game folder that you've overwritten then right click the file that has a ".das" on it and click "properties" then go to "previous versions" and select the restore point and VOILLA!! You have retrieved you save game!! Never tried on corrupted save game, but probably will work. Reply if it works on corrupted save games.
So those who overwritten the quick save game and do not have your true save game, only the auto-saves and miss
