What happened is, I have the character that can teach you how to be an assassin. I asked him to train me as an assassin and he accepted, but I never got any sort of message on the screen that the specialization was unlocked. I loaded the game and tried it again (I had an autosave from only a couple minutes before) and I got the same thing. I loaded and went back to the camp, and *still* had the same issue. Has anyone else had this happen, and if so were you actually able to select the assassin specialization at level 14? I'm not there yet, I have a couple levels to go, but I don't want to get to that level and figure out that it didn't work, and that I have to go back to a really old save and try again.
EDIT: Nevermind, I figured out what happened. I had unlocked it earlier by giving the guy a bunch of gifts, but decided not to save it... but apparently it saved my unlocking of the class.
