I seem to remember this being asked before but I can't remember if there was a solution. I also could only find a link from Kaedrin's site to the old forums when I searched around, which is obviously pretty useless.

The issue is that custom classes don't seem to be showing up on the "Basics" tab of the creature properties. I can set a creature to use a custom class from the Properties tab but it throws an exception, and then gives me an error message if I subsequently view the Basics tab again. Still, it may turn out to be just fine in-game, but it's rather ugly and using the button on the Feats tab to add class-granted feats doesn't work.

I know others have come across this before, so I was just wondering if there was some way to make the classes work normally. I've tried putting the classes.2da file in the override but that's not been a big help (i.e. it changed nothing). It would rather help to be able to create Samurai, since that was going to be a rather popular class for NPCs.

I have noticed in the past when working with custom classes - in my case it was PrCs, that the toolset does see them but only partially in the form of a blank space in the list - which isnt much help but if you really need to access the info in the toolset you might try to break the cardinal rule of placing your custom dialog tlk in the install directory - then I think you will 'see' your custom classes

Yeah, I thought I might have to do some install-directory hacking, which is a bit annoying. I might give it a go. The thing is that whilst I can set creatures to use these classes, I have no real way of knowing if it's actually worked, and I don't like doing things which prompt error messages either knowing how unstable the TS can be...
