I just bought it as a gift for two friends I played tabletop D&D with years ago. They've been too busy to track it down, but I am hoping that if they give it a shot, they'll have as much fun as I did. :-) And, at $5 each, it's the best deal on a stocking stuffer that I know about.

Other than getting the CD keys, do you have to do anything to play mult-player. I seem to recall needing to download the 1.69 critical rebuild.

I don't think that's necessary for the version that GOG ships. I think they call it NWN Diamond because it has the same modules that Diamond did, but it is more updated than the boxed version of Diamond. I remember last year at about this time I found an outdated BIF problem with their version that we got for a friend's PC, and right after that they fixed it. I think that was the last bug. Shia's Windows Installation Guide also notes that the GOG version is already patched.

As best I know, the current GOG version is fully up-to-date, patched, etc. Just download it and request the keys for MP.

Probably the best bargain in the history of gaming. I re-purchased off of GOG not long ago and have had no problems with the game at all.
