I'm in a position where my internet access on my big, gaming computer(..y'know, the one with the comfy chair that's in the spot where it can never, ever move, due to the shape of the room I'm currently living in) is at best, spotty, and at worst, it can be described as "ceasing to exist for days at a time".
On both dragon age II, and both Mass Effects, I've sofar been able to log onto the bioware network when my computer HAS internet access, and then been able to get the cool items I desire for incredibly brief periods of time.
Then they disappear.
Is there any way to just..spoof the computer into thinking I'm online or something? I don't wanna get game content for free, or anything, I just...want to be able to get to the content I already own.
Or...baring that, is there some way to edit my character without using Maker's Sigh's?
Is there any way to reach the Black Emporium without a steady internet connection?

You should be able to log in once to authorize the content, then set the computer to NOT automatically log in and it SHOULD forever after not log in or change the authorization of said content. I can't really say if this is how it actually works but this is how it was supposed to work by Dev comments around ME2 and DA2 and the listed data I saw around the times of release.

Once the the Black Emporium is "unlocked" within the game, it stays that way. After initial validation, there's no need for an internet connection at all to play DA2. Ever.

I log on, I get, for like...20 seconds, the "check out your chest of cool stuff" quest. The arrow for the premium content chest lights up, I run over, and at that point and time, I no longer have a connection. At that point, the "server connection is lost" message pops up, and while there's a yellow arrow, and a "open your chest of cool stuff" quest in my journal, I can't open the chest. It says on the game's login screen that my copy of DA2 is linked to my EA account, it's registered to that account, I downloaded the game through orgin, and I validated the account. I still can't access premium content. What am I doing wrong?
