I'm having trouble exporting granny files out of 3dsmax 8 using Exportron. I've been using this guide and followed it to a T.  http://nwvault.ign.c...ls.Detail&id=96

I made a cusom animation, export it setting the proper peramiters according to Omnimmotus's tutorial and get my GR2 file with the prefix p_hhm....  I place it in the override folder, make a test module with a conversation using the ga_play_custom_animation script.  IG nothing happens.

So, importing the GR2 file BACK into 3dsmax brings up a blank screen.  No Skeleton, no animation, no nothing.  Can anyone tell me what's wrong?:crying:

You can not import GR2 file.
Perhaps its the script thats a problem, Have you tried playing the animations in teh toolset using teh Animation viewer?

Hmm, yea I'm unable to locate the files in the animation viewer as well. I should be able to just by placing the GR2 into the override correct?

Yet I'm doing just that when I'm importing the nwn skeleton no?  They're GR2 files as well.


BTW, love your work man.  I've used so much of yours stuff in my modules that I am well beyond appreciative, so here's a personal thanks to all of it.:)

It's working now. neems I needed to restart the toolset and game together to be able to have it load. Yay!
