I am a completionist to the point of stupidity, so I completed every single quest, made every single keep upgrade, raised approval to 100 for all 6 party members, yet both Justice and Sigrun die in my epilogue. Is it a trilionth bug or did I miss something?

Justice dies in all his epilogues if recruited. He may/may not survive the attack on Warden's Keep and may/may not spend years wardening or pursuing other injustices, but eventually will always depart Kristoff's body - usually on the doorstep of Kristoff's widow, if you did that sidequest.

Sigrun however does have an epilogue where she survives - the warden always finds urgent jobs for her to do that keep her postponing her departure for her Calling. To get it you need to do her side-quest which annoyingly is bugged.

Go to Amaranthine with her (the streets, just north of the pub and chantry) and she'll see a familiar face which starts her personal quest: Sigrun's Roguish Past. However, it won't trigger if you have completed the Law and Order quest. (here is a fix for this if you're on PC : http://social.biowar...t/3129/#details ) Then have a chat with her back at the Keep, then return to the pub in Amaranthine so Sigrun can have her final conversation with her old 'friend'. Finally, when you are back at the Keep, talk to Sigrun again and tell her that you 'don't want to lose a friend'. And that'll do the trick.

Also note that if you bring them along for the final mission and you choose to spare the Architect, both Justice and Sigrun will turn on you and attack you (though I think they won't if you've maxed out their loyalties).

Awakenings is bugged to hell, anyways. I wouldn't expect much from the game.

I completed Sigrun's quest and had her approval at 100, I looked at Dragon Age Wiki and it seems like Justice dies if he's left to defend the keep even if everything is upgraded, but I don't know why Sigrun dies. Also I was able to persuade (not intimidate) peasants to leave but in the epilogue I got "brutally put down" slide. This game is crazy bugged indeed. What's the point of presenting an import feature if you can't get it to work.

Another quick question, if you decide to save Amaranthine, whoever you leave in the keep (no matter how upgraded) will always be marked as dead even if the Epilogue tells otherwise?

Ah, yes, that's a problem which only became apparent since DA2. If you save Amaranthine but fully upgraded the Keep, the epilogue slides will tell you the Keep-defending characters survived. But the actual plot flags don't follow that. They automatically register the Keep defenders as dead. As far as the plot flags go the only way to have all your companions survive is to save the Keep.

This is only a problem when importing to DA 2 and a certain someone may/may not make a cameo depending on whether they survived Awakenings.

Interesting. I guess it doesn't matter for Anders and Justice, but 1 other companion will be permanently dead. It appears that the only way to avoid it is to save the keep. Total fail for an RPG game.

Really though this is just one of the smaller flaws. As long as you bring that one companion with you it doesn't matter in DA2. Although who knows who may/may not make a cameo in DA3.
