Overall, I'd say 2012 looks like a pretty good year in gaming. Even the games that I might not get look interesting and I may at least watch playthroughs of them when they come out.

Games that I'll definitely be getting:

-Assassin's Creed 3
-BioShock Infinite
-The Last Guardian(if it's coming out this year, which it better be)
-Far Cry 3
-Hitman: Absolution
-Darksiders 2

Games that I might get(if I have enough money):

-Grand Theft Auto V
-Prototype 2
-Diablo 3
-Syndicate
-Prey 2
-Luigi's Mansion 2

Games that I'm not sure about:

-Tomb Raider
-Spec Ops: The Line
-Borderlands 2
-Dishonored
-Max Payne 3
-Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
-The Last of Us

Not as pumped as I should be, but also a vote for ME3. Bioshock Infinite as well. That's pretty much it.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.

Dragons Dogma.

Halo 4

ME3

Minecraft for the 360

and

I am Alive.

There are some maybe titles, but not many, and each of them have there "Mehs" where I may not want to spend 60 on. So Maybe DLC? Or maybe some of the older games that are now cheaper I didn't want to take a risk on.

Miegakure is a good candidate - technically, there's no announced date yet, but here's hoping it's this one. The concept by itself makes the game worth a look.

I'm not so hopeful to Doom 4... maybe they'll prove me wrong, but I wouldn't count on it being game of the year. Also the same answer for GTA 5.

BioShock Infinite - I have high hopes for this game. Story looks cool so far. The characters are great too. Definitely gonna blow Bioshock's original tale away. I love steampunk setting so the fun will be doubled.

Mass Effect 3 - Maybe...

Metro: Last Light - Definitely a buy, despite the fact it's based on the bad ending of first game. It looks cool so far so why not.

Hitman: Absolution - I'm sure it will be good if they won't make it too Splinter Cell-like.

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance - Not sure. I suppose I'll get it anyway...

GTA V - This is also on my shopping list.

Well, I wouldn't exactly call it steampunk. It seems to be based more on the Ultrapatriotism 4th-of-July Age-of-Booming-Technology Attitude seen in the early 20th Century. There's a slight steampunky element to it.

ME3, Hitman: Absolution, and possibly Max Payne 3.

The rest look pretty "meh" to me.

Let's see... SInce it's so long, time to split it into genres:

RPGs
Dragon's Dogma
Dragon's Crown
Mass Effect 3
Diablo III? (still pissed about the required internet connection)
Kingdom's of Amalur: Reckoning
Tales of the Abyss 3DS? (depends on the new content as I already played the original)
Borderlands 2
The Last Story? (I just hope it gets released next year, if ever)
Xenoblade Chronicles (I need a system first)

Action
Darksiders 2
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
Ninja Gaiden III

Strategy
Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm

Fighting Games
Street Fighter x Tekken
Soul Calibur V
Tekken 3D

There's so many sequels people are looking forward to next year? Anyone looking forward to something new?

I'm looking forward to Quantum Conundrum. It's from Kim Swift who worked on Portal and Narbacular Drop, so is it really just more of the same or will it feel different? I don't know. It has a crazy uncle mad scientist, and that's Purple Tentacle enough for me.
