I bought ME2 deluxe edition through pre order on steam so I got the DLC content with it. I built a new computer and went to reinstall the game and my DLC but it says the code for my DLC is in use already. What do I do?
Cant download my DLC because of reinstall.

Since you want to 'reinstall' the DLC I assume you already used the code before? Otherwise you couldn't have installed it before. If the DLC is linked to your account (and if it's on the user entitlements page it is) then all you have to do is log in on the same account you use for this website in the game.MBrown551 wrote...

This crap is really pissing me off? why the hell are bio EA being such anal retentive ****s?
****, ME 3 is coming ut soon, why don't they stop giving everyone who's having these problems the ****s and release a kill drm / authentication patch ???
this bollocks is seriously making me HATE on EA and Bio...
You don't see CD Project Red pulling any of this BS and because of how good they are, with the DLC free as a part of the Patches, I Pre-ordered that Release day collector's ED, cos I KNEW I can TRUST them, Developer AND publisher wise.
But Bio and EA, it's just not possible to trust them anymore, or take anything they say with anything BUT a grain of salt. They have no will or drive to keep customer / fanbase trust or goodwill, they have our money and that's all they care about...
i wonder if this kind of BS needs some stupidly HUGE multi-national class action or some such filed against them.... maybe that'd force them to treat their customers like, well, customers of their business, as opposed to suckers they just conned

it's down right stupid from even the most neo-capitalist viewpoint.
Sure, short term they may make greater profits by mugging people of cash and not sopporting or even bothering to pretend to care about fixing widespread issues and faults with their product, but in the longterm, they are only shooting themselves in the bloody head, let alone the foot...
Who's going to trust their word, and buy ME 3 ???
No one, if they keep alienating their market. And then the company makes NO MONEY, and is dead
it's beheading oneself to spite the nose.
There is no business sense, or even logic to such self - destructive tendancies
my friends and i joke that they must be having a bet or competition with certain other big name dev and pubs' to see who can be the dumbest, and kill their business and their brand , quickest...

I am not sure why I have all this other registered content under my login, I own ME2 for PC only. I don't own any dragon age game. But anyway I download the file and it gets installed. Then when I run ME2 I get a message saying I have unregistered contend installed and that I have to register it. So I log in the cerberus, enter my product code, and it says its already been redeemed. What is going on here? I called EA and they told me to contact steam. Steam pretty much told me the same thing you guys told me and said if I have anymore problems then I have to contact EA. They are sending me in circles. And here is a snap shot of my DLC

Nevermind. I was logging in with my EA account and not my Bioware account.

Those Dragon Age II goodies were for everyone on the forum. They gave them away before the game was even out. I got 15 DLC items before I even got the game and then I got the Signature Edition so I have an insane amount of stuff.

Not sure if your issue is fixed, but I had a EA Downloader version of ME2 and just bought the Steam version at 5$.
In "My Games->Register Games", I "unregistered" my current EA Downloader ME2 version, registered the new Steam version and redeemed the new Cerberus Network key, installed all the DLC and launched the game. Login was correct, and achievements are filled with DLC content.
