LI availability? We're not talking about a cars or whatever. People aren't "avalible" just because you want them, nor should that be the case in ME3. I wouldn't count any romance that ultimately rejects the PC as such. Especially not one that rejects the PC because of his/her sex. The very action of a rejection because of one's gender is where it dies. Rejection =/= rejecting sex but rather rejecting the PC's love for them. Once that's rejected yeah...that's not a romance. That's a one sided crush.

That's just prolonged flirtation that gets shut down.

Plus I find the story someone overcoming fear and adversity far more interesting than them giving into it.

My issue is how do you decide orientation makes sense?  How does someone make sense to be gay or straight or bisexual? Why does this matter more than my Warden being someone Alistair wouldn't touch with a twenty foot pole if she wasn't the PC? Heck my PC can act exactly like Morrigan save being nice to Alistair and all of a sudden he's in true love? Why aren't people clamoring for this sense in all kinds of interaction and not just orientation? That's what bugs me.

I'm not familar with these mods. Wasn't Juhani an LI for FemRevan in default KOTOR?

As I said before, one or two characters in a remotely believable scenario is one thing. But all of the LIs is just stupid.

Well, I'm sure they don't hate you. But they usually tell you what you did wrong when you get banned. Give it a few hours, they may not be awake yet seeing as how it's around 2-3 in the morning in our part of the world.

Well I sent chris a message days ago. Bleh. I suppose the mods just hate people that potentially surpass them (and everyone else) in intellegence.

Overcoming fear is a wonderful thing, but it's not something everyone manages. It was merely an example.

People like their LI arguments, I guess. In my defense, I'm discussing the absence of wildlife in another thread, and advocating lateral thinking to circumvent puzzles (plus getting rid of illogical 'padding' combat from quests) in a third.

It's funny how they take their sweet ass time to ban resident Internet Tough Guy Zeel whenever he creates another obvious account and the same angry and douchey behavior, and yet random folks get banned on what could be described as a whim.

True enough. I got enough tragedy in DA2 to last me a lifetime though.

I don't get it. How does that answer the question?

I've been wondering it for a while. Frankly I always felt some of the romances were a bit silly but I accepted the silly because it was a game. Yet I keep hearing staunch realists going "well it should be coherent and everything should make sense." yet they don't say a peep about other things that make far less sense and are still related to romance. It just bothers me.

Why wasn't anything said about: 

-Leliana romancing a Warden who poisoned the ashes?
-Alistair romancing a Warden who killed the mages for the lulz?
-Alistair/Leliana/Zevran romancing a warden who slaughtered the elves?
-Zevran/Leliana romancing a warden who sacrificed the elven slaves for power?
-So on

It just...meh.
