This amused me.

Femshep doesn't even have to put out for all that either. The nerve of these Paragons to slander such a gentleman.

If you did, then you'd know that line is unavoidable. Way to pwn yourself there bub.

I lost the argument and I don't have the grace to admit it, so I'm going to resort to name calling like a little kid that I am, in hopes that nobody notices how pathetic it is.

Stuff like this doesn't exactly make Cerberus fans any better.

I wonder though, why should Cerberus fans be the only ones who should care about making themselves look good, and other posters here are free to insult as they please? I'm getting all of the drawbacks of the evil incarnate, so how about getting some of the perks? Like not giving a damn about what the ignorant and ill-mannered trolls like Killjoy think of me.

And what is there left to lose for Cerberus fans, after what we found about ME3? Clearly the devs don't have a shred of respect for us, and many anti-Cerberus posters on BSN don't have the grace to converse intelligently.

Why should anyone else care, when the vocal Cerberus fans can be counted on to appear at even the slightest mention of Cerberus and start raving about how hot TIM is, and start telling everyone else how "stupid and naive" they are for not supporting Cerberus?  Never mind that it's not our fault that you're fans of what was always and obviously one of the antagonists of the series, and instead of just saying "we like the antagonist, so what?", most of you have to try to make a damn hero out of people like TIM and Kai Leng...

If you don't have any logical arguments against TIM being the hero and being hot, and instead have to resort to insults and generalizing to prove your point, that just shows how helpless you are on intellectual level, so why should I care about anything you have to say?

Especially since you're trying to speak on behalf of all humanity, instead of having the guts to speak for yourself.

He certainly does. <3 All those countless pistols and rifles and armor, and other high tech weapons of destruction, fresh from the labs, it melted my femshep's heart.

Best thing is they each come with a note that TIM wrote himself. Like the ones he wrote after each mission is finished. TIM is a considerate gentleman, a shining example that all could learn from.

I know, right? A means of slaughter with a personal note, each time a new one, so many ways to kill organics and non-organics alike. That man sure has the seductive skill.

Irony, thy name is internet.

I've posted until my fingers are numb as to what makes TIM anything but a hero, and what makes Cerberus anything but trustworthy, and (unsurprisingly) you show up and post some variation on the same tired old Cerbo-militant line about anyone daring to criticize Cerberus being "an illogical, ignorant, naive, idealistic idiot with no argument".

Especially since you're trying to speak on behalf of all humanity, instead of having the guts to speak for yourself.

The only person making that claim about me, is you

Ah, yes, the joke that's only "funny" because you get to tell yourself you're superior while laugh at someone who doesn't think it's funny.

Might be the most pathetic form of humor after the fart joke.

No, not really.

It's hilarious because you take it, and yourself, so seriously.

So pretty much what I said, you get to laugh at the person who doesn't think it's funny and look down on them.

In the same sense that someone who makes a fool of themselves is playing the part of a fool, sure. It really has nothing to do with any self-assumed superiority, and everything for the lack of self-respect and self-awareness the other person is demonstrating.

The sadest part is that the lack of self-awareness is so acute they simply go on trying to defend themselves with aggressive bluster, even when the bluster is what is makes them laughable in the first place.

You confuse one person's personal behavior with the assumed superiority of others, but that's why you're playing the role so well.

The odd fact that there's nothing that could be said at this point to convince you not to continue making a fool of yourself. You're already been alerted, and yet still continue with the farce even though you lost all claims to a reasonable highground long ago.

Wow, you're so not getting it.

There was a group of kids I went to college with, who thought they were the funniest people in the world because they would make up bizarre, outlandish "philosophies" and "religions", and then go to meetings where the whole point was for students to learn about other people's beliefs and worldviews that they'd never even heard of, and then see how long they could keep people taking them seriously and engaging them.  They invited me along more than once because they thought the agnostic, sarcastic kid would find it hilarious too.

But they just weren't funny.  It was juvenile, and sad, and pathetic, and mean-spiritied.  They spent all that time giggling behind their backs at the people there who were trying to have an actual discussion, and using those good intentions as the fuel for their own small, self-absorbed amusement.  They were trolling before the concept even existed.

I get what you're thinking, Dean.  The problem is, you're not grasping what I've been at from the start.  My point was that Seboist's schtick isn't funny, at all.  And evidently you think that anyone who doesn't laugh at trolling "takes themselves too seriously and doesn't have any self-awareness".  Yeah, I do take what people say seriously.  Words have meaning, and consequences... say what you mean, and mean what you say.  But I guess you think that makes me a fool -- well good for you.  You'd have fit right in with those kids back at college.

Imagine a table with adults trying to have a discussion that's at least semi-serious.  Then 5-year-old runs into the room making fart noises and saying "poop" over and over, trying to get their attention so he can point, laugh, and run back out of the room.  Every troll on the internet is channelling that child.

Someone should mod Indigo Prophecy and put default FemShep and TIM in the place of Samantha and Tyler in their romantic dance scene. It'd probably look pretty ugly though considering that's a last gen game.
