Can we find the music from the ending somewhere. I mean the part when Shepard speaks with the child and has to choose. The music in that scene is awesome and basically the only good thing about the ending but for some reason it is not on the soundtrack. So where can we find it?

Atleast the soundtrack is a work of beautiful art,  there I said something positive now back to being depressed.
But really the soundtrack is exellent kudos to the composers

Anyone know why Jack Wall didn't finish out the trilogy?

Absolutely LOVE "Leaving Earth". What an awesome song. Even my girlfriend thinks it's awesome and she has never played Mass Effect. :D

My only disappointment is that Clint Mansell only contributed two tracks. And one of those was a collaboration with Sam Hulick. Although I'm not denying that "Leaving Earth" (his solo effort) and "An End, Once and For All" (the collaboration) are great tracks, overglorifying Clint Mansell's contributions to the score is a disservice to the work of Sam Hulick, Sascha Dikiciyan, Cris Velasco, and Christopher Lennertz. They composed the brunt of the score. Clint Mansell seems to have been more of a guest composer.

It's a shame since I was expecting more involvement from him than just two tracks out of 23 (25 if you count the two bonus tracks).

I have to say, that "Leaving Earth" and "An Ending Once And For All" (may be mistaken on that second title) are absolutely amazing - very much my favorite tracks in the entire game!

Now to just purchase the OST, since I couldn't get spousal approval to purchase the CE of ME3, and had to go the normal version for PC ;-)

I have a musical friend whose music would be perfect for BioWare RPG type titles, but she has no idea about how to approach them ('jobs' section unavailable atm). We do monthly music challenges (different style each month) and I let her know that she should think about this. I showed her the scene where Shep leaves Earth and she sees what I mean now and seems interested. Anyone any ideas where she should start?

For anyone interested: www.soundclick.com/ekaterina

And no, the 'friend' is not me lol.  My music is a bit too rock/metal for this kind of venture.

thats great. too bad mansell is the only one you guys ever talk about. it would be nice to see the other composers get some sort of credit other then fine print at the bottom of the soundtrack or the end game credits.

I also enjoyed how they worked music from the past two games in the final game. I wish mansell had more work in the game but the stuff he did was great. Also kudos to all the other composers as well. All the music was great. Lots of hard work to be sure

*lol* So true.

Sam Hulick seems to have been the lead composer/showrunner this time around.  He did a great job taking over for Jack Wall.

Although I love that Bioware not only included the score with the CE release but also included said score in the form of lossless tracks, I hope they release a multi-CD set that features the expanded scores for all three games.

There are some great tunes (mostly combat and ambiance) in ME3 that didn't make it into the soundtrack.

I didn't know that Christopher Lennertz had done any of the music on Mass Effect. He scored Quantum of Solace, which is the best James Bond video game adaption by some way.

I realize most of my favorite tracks (including the Overlord DLC and LotSB) were done by Lennertz.Btw, here's the catalyst song on a loop www.youtube.com/watch . Good to know Hulick did it, probably the only good thing about that part of the game.

This soundtrack was great.

I was surprised to see Clint Mansell make two attributions despite all the hype about him being involved. But, at the same time, I'm glad they incorporated a lot of previous composers who know the ME feel as well.
