WAY excited to hear that so many excellent composers are part of the team! My biggest concern when hearing Mansell was composing was "huh, it took five composers to make all the music for Mass Effect 2, so how on earth is he going to carry the game all on his own?" This answers that question in one of the best possible ways.

Also, I'll give a mention to Jack Wall for being Sam Hulick's partner on a lot of those formative cues from Mass Effect, such as the theme. Jack's stuff is great too, and while I would have loved to see him work on Mass Effect 3 as well, I think this entire team of Mass Effect veterans (especially Hulick in my opinion) give me a lot of poise and pure excitement about the Mass Effect 3 soundtrack.

Last thought: I'm glad that *not* scoring Mass Effect 3 gave Jack Wall and Jimmy Hinson time work on some personal projects. Hinson's album Impostor Nostalgia was an instant classic for me (along with Contingency, which has some Mass Effect 2 outtakes!), and both Jack and Sam (and Cris and Sascha and Christopher!) contributed to Novum Initium, a charity album. I haven't gotten to the latter yet, but you should definitely check all those albums out.

Yay for Sam Hulick. I can't imagine ME without him. And there's no doubt that Clint Mansell is a musical genius. I love his work. Moon's soundtrack would have to be my favourite.

This is one amazing team. I liked the sound of that teaser, definitely had that ME feel.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa! The guy behind the Arrival OST is on board too!?! Dammit Bioware, you're the best ****ing developer in the entire ****ing universe! Seriously!!

Guys, plural: both Cris and Sascha composed for not only Arrival, but also Katsumi's DLC.

I have one lingering fear now, which is that Christopher, Cris and Sascha are on the list because BioWare is reusing their music from the previous DLCs. I hope they're actually providing new pieces. Seems like a pretty safe bet that Mansell and Hulick are providing new pieces though.

No, it's more of a ME1 Victory OST.

Have to disagree there. It's almost as if Shepard's Return was a basis for the unboxing music in terms of core melody. They're VERY similar.

I belive Rob has said earlier that the demo will contain pretty much finalized music, albeit not fully mastered. So that's a yes

I'm pretty sure he meant from 0:13-1:34, because that's when the version of classic ME theme used at the end of "Normandy Reborn" kicks in.  Also, here's the tweet where Sam confirms the piano piece from the demo was Mansell's work.
