I've been watching this off-and-on this year on Showtime, and got caught up in the last few episodes. It was pretty well acted, I liked the slow-burn plot, and that the main protagonist was so very very flawed. The Season finale was last night, and MAN was it dark!
I don't want to spoil it for anyone else who was following but didn't watch it, but to those watching - did you think the show's plot authentically was set up to go in this direction, or is this a case of the writers jerking the audience around to justify another season? The plot strained credulity to begin with, but I thought it sort of took a left turn into Weirdville SO (soap-opera).
