I want some of your ideas of annoying game mechanics that the industry should be beyond.  For example, I made some dark skinned characters in various origins, yet my reletaves were still all white as day.  what is up with that?  by now there should have been a script or mechanic (whatever you call it) that simply changes the skin tint of your relatives to match that of the character you create.

anybody else have peeves with issues in our rpgs?

The simple answer is that you were adopted.

can you not see how a hair style, or a tattoo, is far less of an issue than the fact that your skin tone does not match that of your relatives? (and no i was not adopted by these relatives) i think we as gamers should demand more. perhaps i am alone on this.

It depends.. Making a tan character.. or straight up, African American kinda color change? If you're talking tan.. you get out more then you're relatives.. If you're talking racial change.. WAY more goes into it then skin color. You got, Facial Structure, Potential Voice, Hair (Yes, i know, sounds bad, but its true.) If you take any white character from the game.. and give them darker skin, 90% will look weird.. very weird. This would require a lot of time to do, when they can just make one family, one way, and save hours, time, and money. Sure, realism = fail when you make a character darker.. And not to mention elves.. and dwarfs would need this too. A lot of work for sometime so trivial. I just don't see it happening.

We need a much harsher, stronger word than demand.

Not really, no. It's skin, not a second head.
