Hello, Star Wars, Old Republic and BioWare fans.

As you know, BioWare Austin is releasing its long-awaited MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic! We hope that some of our long-time KotOR fans are also fans of the new MMO, but please remember, even if KotOR and SWTOr have similar names and acronyms, this forum is for discussion of KotOR.

For discussion of SWTOR please visit their community at www.swtor.com.

Stan, there is an issue with the ToR forum, though: You need access to a/your ToR account to be able to post there.

If you, like me, unfortunately gets locked out of your ToR account by the problematic login procedure that likes to prompt 'security questions you didn't ask for' for no other reason than updating a driver or something like that, then you are unable to post to the ToR forums despite having a ToR account.

Customer Service on ToR related stuff takes ages (I mailed them asap about my issue and have yet to hear a response over 24 hours later now, which means I've technically paid for 24 hours of nothing when I can't access my account), so what is the official suggestion for those of us unable to post in the customer service forums over there for our issues when CS seems to be swamped with random issues and thus not solving account accesibility issues in a timely manner?

It kind of feels like they need tattled on to the grown-ups once in a while. There was a Bioware panel/Q&A at Momocon covering many aspects of the company, but two points stick in my mind: 1. it's a goal to create games that can be enjoyed by players of any gender or orientation, to play the games however they choose, and B) the Canadian folks can't really answer much about SWTOR since that's the Austin team. So consider this an update.

A year and change after the game launch, we're finally getting same-gender flirts with the first expansion (I haven't heard anything about romances). Imperials get the m/m options. Republic gets the f/f options. That's it. With a vague promise of more equal options "in the future" - which so far seems to mean "a couple tidbits after a year and change, with an expansion you'll have to pay extra for".

What channels do I have to go through to call down the wrath of Canada on these chuckleheads?
