While we are waiting on the announcement I have been enjoying a lot of the stories. I wonder if any of you have visualized your characters in your stories. I have a habit of making storyboards in the toolset when I write my DA stories. Thought I might share what my story's character looks like, and I am curious what some of the other characters look like.

Constructive Criticism Requested: (I believe it could help, so yes.)
Synopsis: With the thirst for blood and sense of obligation driving them, the Templars that once only scrutinized the mages now hunts them down. The Mages, who only wished the freedom of choice and acts, were now far more dangerous with fear oppressing them. As a result, a grand Mage-Hunt has been let loose on Thedas.

The story is told from the perspective of an apprentice mage named Lea Vance. After being taken into custody by a group of fugitive mages in Ostwick, she experiences the immoral ways of Mages and Templars alike with her own two eyes.

(If I'm going to be honest, this is not the exact same entry as the one I sent. It's the same in story and dialogue, but some words were switced out. I really wished I realized it sooner.)

I would post a picture of Kane if I had DAO for PC... but I play on the Xbox, on an SDTV, and have no digital camera, so there is no way the pictures would ever show up. Your character looks great though. I like his eyes.

I had a dream about this contest last night. I dreamed that Bioware selected about 20 of the entries and turned them into a graphic novel anthology. (Like, all the stories were converted into comics instead of text.) My story got picked, but they totally re-wrote my beginning and ending.

I liked the one story about the demonic invasion in Val Royeaux's Alienage. Props to whoever wrote that.

The only character I could draw for my fic would be Anders - and he's not actually the focal character of the story, though he *is* pretty central to it! Though my protagonist is a girl mage, I very deliberately didn't describe her - I didn't even give her a name, just as though I mention Hawke, I don't mention Hawke's gender or anything else - simply referring to "The Hawke". Just as Hawke can become pretty much whoever you want he or she to be in DA2, I wanted my protagonist to similarly be a blank slate for the reader to fill in the blanks themselves.The only clues to her appearance are that she's a girl - probably mid-teens - and she's wearing a dress.
