I had wandered away from this thread for the past few days to calm my nerves, and I come back to this awesomeness!

Now my nerves are all in a bunch and I can't wait! GAH! It's slowly taking the years off my life.

@T3hTwinky - I thought your abstract was very catching, I know I wanted to read more! And now that you've provided us a link, I think I shall! :)

Not a riot so much as a frenzy, I'd think. Kind of like every year that I make it to PAX, the frenzy that surrounds Omeganaut Call Day a month or so ahead of time.

Seems legit.
What's PAX though?

http://prime.paxsite.com/

Omegathon is a killer last-man-standing gaming contest that spans the entire weekend. Participants are randomly chosen about a month before the con, and pretty much everyone who's already bought their passes are crazy-on-edge, not letting their phones out of their sight, answering even in the worst situations because if you miss the call? Too bad. You're scratched off the list and they go to the next (because really, they have THOUSANDS of people who qualify to be Omeganauts. They don't have time to wait on call-backs).

xD Fiiiine, just this once then.
Rocks sound much more interesting than system data analysis though. Gggh.

... Also, this PAX sounds awesome. ;-; Alas, I can't exactly walk to Seattle, lol.

Neither can I, which is why I only go every other year. Two round trip tix from the east coast (me & hubby) is expensive, yo.

Trolling isn't nice, indeed.
But...for me..
I would have to choose to write from a Templar's point of view. Since I have never done it before, it should prove to be an interesting challenge to say the least.

I can imagine. Sheesh!
Ah well. Maybe someday, when I'm not horribly broke, I should look into it myself. xD

I think you're a bit late to this particular party.

I'm guessing we might hear something maybe start of next week if we're lucky. And Gaider will toss us a couple more tantilising tweets that tell us absolutely nothing but keep us guessing between now and then.

Reading five short stories is a lot less difficult than reading 400-plus short stories. I would expect word in a day or two.

The suspense is terrible. I hope it'll last.

At this point, I'd guess cause it's funny. I know if it were me holding all the power, I'd think this was hilarious.

He's probably stalking this thread getting a good laugh. It's what I'd probably do.
