Yes, it would have been awesome to see my name there, but I'm giddy enough for everyone else. Considering I'm literally about to leave to go to a funeral, it wouldn't be appropriate for me to be grinning ear-to-ear the whole afternoon, and I would be if my story had been on that list! >.<

EDIT: I just noticed they were nice enough to remove the typo from my name. When I created this account here I couldn't use "ColorMeSurprised"... so I ended up without the r and I started to think surprised would be really spelled suprised. How awful, even my name is a mistake.

Haha, yeah, was my first serious anime. (Ranma was my first comedy.) If I ever get around to finishing it, I've got one hell of an epic Eva AMV I'm working on.

Tell me as soon as you have finished it. I made AMVs for Mass Effect and Dragon Age. Animes are kind of a challenge.

Congrats everyone! Like many, a little disappointed to not have placed (though hardly surprised - I wrote mine in two rapid-fire bursts, the last bits squeezed in between other deadlines), but also very appreciative of the feedback David's given the entrants. Looking forward to reading the winning entries over the next few days! Now I'd love to post to SoLD's thread and get some feedback from the community (I've been reading this thread religiously, believe you me), then it's work mode, activate!

But the templar hunter Evaine knows better. She had dealings with one over a decade ago, and now she pursues this rogue apostate for revenge. There’s just one hitch that might cause a problem with her plans: the Somniari happens to be her twin sister.

Congrats to all the winners! Several of my favorite fan fic authors were on the list of finalists and I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for the Bioware writers to choose from so much talent.
Thank you also to David Gaider for taking the time to post his writing tips in the blog. Sometimes I wish fan fic readers were more critical (no matter how much the criticism stings).

I am looking forward to reading all of the entries that have submitted a link for SoLD's list. I'll put a link up for mine as soon as I have time to do so.
