Is the Writer's Lounge only for the ones with the games? If so, go for it! I will be there.
Yep, I think so

That was my way of thinking, I don't know if everybody agrees.

Unfortunately, for those who don't have the game, I'm unsure where a completely unrestricted playground is...

Lots of shy people though, it seems. Not even 100 entries put up.

I finally put mine up on my website the other day. I like a lot of what I'm reading! You can go ahead and add mine to any lists (unless I'm so late to the game there's a different way you wanted it submitted?)
SoLD has a template for her thread that includes the title, link, author, and synopsis. Other than that template, though, there aren't any "rules" for submitting it for the rest of us to read, though.

You can still submit it to SoLD's thread! It's a shallow consolation, but even if the DA writers won't be able to consider ur work, the rest of the community can still read and appreciate it!

Story: Lackluster Author: Mpskydog
Constructive Criticism Requested: Yes
Synopsis: It isn’t every day a committed, but talentless and lackluster mage has a chance to do something heroic. But can he even manage to do it right?

(Anyone else notice that FanFiction.net counts words differently than Microsoft word? I had 2500 including my chapter/section numbers in Word... FanFic reports over 2700? *shrugs*)

SoLD- Kindly post this in your Entries thread since I don't have a copy of DragonAge. (Never even played the game before.Thank goodness for Gaider's book, the wiki, and YouTube gameplay videos to grant some pretty good insight into the world)

Did you add an a/n on ff.net? That's where my files normally end up with different word counts from.

The Community is called: Asunder Creative Writing Competition. It is the stories that have been posted on FF.net.
And, if you aren't using FF.net to host your story, please, please post a link here or in the DA2 thread by SoLD! There were over 400+ stories submitted to Bioware, and they haven't all been listed for public consumption yet!

Author: diablosflame
Synopsis: I hear footsteps behind me and I turn, instinctively reaching for the sword belted at my side. He holds his hands up wearing the vestments of the town guard, inept swine herders. No doubt he had never seen anything like this before. "Real mess in here, eh?" I hadn't noticed. "Yes, blood magic. There appear to be no identifying marks on the body." “Yes, sir. Thought that was a bit odd myself. Yet not odd enough to mention it in the report? “Do we know who it is?” “No sir, we haven't a clue. We're going through records now to see who occupied this building last.” By that time, this bastard could strike again. Hell, by that time we could have another blight. “I don't suppose anyone saw anything suspicious.” "Actually the next door neighbor claims to have seen someone enter and leave the building earlier this morning. She said she wanted to speak to a Templar." Why? "She wanted to speak to a Templar specifically?" Perhaps she recognized a Mage. "Yes, the house on the right. She should be there, I just spoke to her." A long shot, but it's possible she knows something. "I'll head over there now. Hopefully your people can manage to identify the body before I go senile." I leave him stewing as I walk out the door.

I found the exact same thing - my story was 2499 and it's coming up over 2700 on ff.net.
I do have an a/n but it's only about 50 words long, it couldn't account for all of those extra 200+ words.
