IF I wanted to make it so that hard mode gives 10% more xp than normal for instance, could i do that?
any way to edit the main game to make each difficulty level give different exp %?

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to level faster? There's a level cap isn't there (I'm still not 20 but I epxect that to be the last)? And most encounters level with you, so it wouldn't give a benefit of any kind...except to reach level 20 that much faster. Which in and of itself is pretty useless given that you can't out-level your foes.

Yes you could.
Easiest way is to edit RewardXPParty function in sys_rewards_h, adding GetGameDifficulty conditional check, and incrase exp accordingly, then recompile
creature_core, area_core and placeable_core scripts, if you want any type of exp reward being affected by your modifier.

well you could do different thinds - alter the xp-modifier (though i am not sure where that is located) or you could alter the xp-table so that you need more xp for each lv (experience 2DA)

i only made it to level 21 on my first playthrough and I was being pretty thorough so obviously theres room for more of a "reward" in my case and Id like extra difficulty to be the challenge to receiving that reward.
