This time, the stories are ME2-related, instead of import stuff.  Mostly about various N7 assignments.  Given that there are similiar pieces in game I suspect many of these are only unused due to bugs, but some are obviously the result of them changing the assignments, resulting in stories that don't quite fit anymore.  There are also a couple bits of cut Ilium and Omega news:

The second (Thax) one was a result of a minor sidequest you get when recruiting Samara.

There are two different stories that are very similarly worded.  One is used.  This one isn't.

Nice work! Thankfully, nothing too important was unused for one reason or another.

So, once you finish documenting the unused audio from "Stop the Collectors," will you be for all intents and purposes done with combing through all of ME2's unused audio?

Yep.  There is some cool stuff in the combat soundsets, but the tedium factor involved in editing all those tiny files together and trying to verify what is and isn't in the game is just too high. I may get around to it someday, but it won't be for a while if I do. There's also the same-sex romance dialogue, which I was going to do at one point, but I just don't want to go through all that stuff when:

a. The lines aren't any different, just the VA saying them.
b. It's pretty much all on Youtube already.
c. There's not that much of it anyway.

Besides, I want to get started on ME1's unused audio...

Totally understandable regarding the combat soundsets and the same-sex romance dialogue (no point in retreading old ground, do what you do best: finding that illusive audio no one else has dug up). May I ask though--to satisfy my curiosity--by "cool stuff" in the combat dialogue, what do you mean?

ME1 unused audio!? You tease...

Well, the squadmates have comments for when someone else on the team buys it (including Shepard).  Some of them, especially Jack's, are pretty damn funny ("Miranda's down....right where she belongs." Or for Thane:  "He got assassinated.").  They also have lines for when you've just revived them with medigel.  There are also a bunch more comments about the specific enemy types than the ones we currently have.  As an example, Mordin being a jerk to dispatched krogan: "No blood rage for you!" or "Krogan: two nervous systems.  No brains."  There's also some extra responses to orders and comments about enemy defenses and stuff like that.

Care to go with ME1 now?

Cause like you said, not much is left and is not really worth doing it and it's too much busy work.

Very cool. You think they cut out those lines due because implementation and bug-testing would be too time-consuming for those? Hopefully they work out the kinks for ME3. You know, come to think of it, I remember someone posting files full of every squadmemeber's combat dialogue (used and unused, they probably didn't know some were cut) in the ME2 thread on Something Awful back in the day to use as a soundboard for pranks, like trashtalking people in Team Fortress 2.
