Hello all! Here is a synopsis of my story:

Title: The Shape Shift

Greagoir is a mage in the Circle of Magi in the city Rivaini city of Dairsmuid. One day, while exploring the Fade, he encounters a demon that cast a terrible spell on him, turning his real body into that of a monstrous spider, while leaving his mind intact. Greagoir must struggle with his new found curse. This story is an homage to the classic novel “The Metamorphosis” by Franz Kafka.

Paige was alive and free to choose what she did with her life, and did not need her choice to have eternal significance in order to find meaning in it. Sometimes a thing was worth doing in and of itself.

'The chantry is quiet when I enter, no one praying to their solemn God. I kneel by the candles; they flicker slightly as the fire senses my anger. Silence is eerie, that’s what the maker is; silent. He doesn’t care about us, why would he give us this gift. It is a curse upon us; we are just killing targets for the Templers'
