I need some VERY basic lines recorded for a very simple test mod I am releasing.

I will go ahead and post the lines here, anyone that wishes to attempt it, feel free.  I will use the best ones, and most fitting to the character :)

[Lines removed since filled]

If you need more extensive voice over and if all else fails, you might try calling the local high school drama coach. I've noticed that the best high school actors are quite good (but average needs work).

Some high school actors/actresses will probably be interested in voicing a mod for a popular computer game. Some have "adult sounding voices". Of course, if you need an 18 year old voice -- that's their thing :)

Just a wild thought for what its worth.

I fear that the same people devoutly building mods for DA:O would be the ones prohibited from talking to high schoolers.

Try using a voice changer and record them yourself, who knows, it can make something good :P

Haha I had a voice changer, but I just couldn't make my voice sound female without sounding like a Chipmunk or something. I got someone to help though and she finished the lines..just waiting to receive them now =0 Then I can release my mod (well if you can call it that..it's really just for me..was a testbed type thing..learning experience..but releasing anyways as it's helpful to me might be to someone else)

Hey NewYears, how are you testing your mod in game without messing up your saved games due to the Plot GUID issue?

Look forward to seeing your mod!

in the future you could always check out the voice actor's guild. http://social.biowar...roup/146/#group
Plenty of people there who would love the work.

Well as far as I know if you follow this:
http://dragonagemodd...of-module_core/

you won't run into any plot issues..however I could be wrong...  What I am going to do before I release it here is load the mod..then continue my current playthrough (backing up my saves first) and see if anything messes up.

=)

As for the voice actor guild..I think I did post there!

If you still need a women for lines, I'll be glad to do it. :)
