Dar All,
I just bought KOTOR 1 and 2 on CD-ROM, and there is no possible way I run it on Windows 7. The computer is up-to-date, but as I launch the game, after the "lucas art" part, I end up with my deskstop wall.
Some forums attempt to provide a solution, but they are muddy clear and unworkable. Is there a solution for me?
Thanks in advance
Windows 7...

Try right clicking on the icon on the desktop select properties and then compatibility and sellecting to run the games in windows XP or 98 mode or watch your screen resolution those older games didnt know what widescreen or 3d was so play about with the ingame resolutions till you come right.
Might also help if you select 640x480 to start up the game then change it once inside.

Thanks; although it did not work. After trying for ages, I decided to return the games to the seller. The game is not compatible with windows 7, period.

It actually does work, requires an older mss32.dll file for some systems (windows 7 tries to use its own mss32.dll which plays havoc on video files), for others it isn't needed it just needs the recent patch for the game.
Only problem I have is with KOTOR2 with freeing dagon ghent you are supposed to meet up with him and bam the game crashes.
