I have started a new game with a dwarven fighter/cleric and I'm a bit confused. I also have Aerie in my party (romance) and I will also have Imoen later on. It will probably be a full party. Now to my question, I want some help with what spells to have with which character.
Im thinking that the dwarf will be melee with buffing and touch spell capabilities. I might give him iron skins with SK, because I would want him to have stoneskin (kind of fitting for a priest of Moradin, I think).
Aerie will go full out offensive spells. Imoen will be buff and support mage. Which spells are best? Im not that good with high level spellcasting, even though I have played this game extensively.
Another question is who to give the robe of vecna to, I can't decide.

There is no such thing as a BEST spell... there is only what’s best in that particular situation. Knowing how to engineer that situation is what separates veterans like Alesia_BH from the enthusiastic dilettante like myself.
Give the robe to Imoen... see below.
IMO Aerie makes a better support mage because her multiclass flexibility comes at the cost of being slow to level whilst a true offensive spell-slinger needs to quickly overwhelm the enemy targets and IMO access to the higher level spells is normally the best way to accomplish that.
p.s. IMO the best armour to give to your flightless GF is "elven chainmail" because it allows her to cast spells... there is one available pretty early for a good aligned party from Trademeet from Lord Skarmaen.
Tip; Give the mantle to Lady Lilith & he will attack you.

Doesn't he attack you even if you give it to him? As I recall, neither of them pays up.

If you try to give it to either, you must battle both of them and yes you get the elven chain mail - although don't know why you wouldn't just get the robe of the good arch magi, same AC plus other benefits like magic resistance, etc.
As for what spells for a fighter/cleric -- I used dual wielding, FoA and that Gnasher think it's called, strength spells like holy power/righteous magic/DUHM, and of course armor of faith, and he did some great damage with that setup. But as you get higher levels, no reason you couldn't also have offensive spells like bolt of glory, flamestrike, sunray/firestorms, etc.
For sure though, a dwarven F/C going to be a much better front-liner than Aerie (though she can be a pretty viable front-liner in ToB).
Against enemy casters, your F/C should have things like remove fear/death ward/fire resistance and to be safe protection from petrification from Aerie could help and lastly chaotic commands if the caster might cast stun spells.
Just my two cents, your mile-age may vary.

The robe is nice but expensive were as the chain is free... although I suppose you could argue that it does cost you the +1 rep you would otherwise get from the quest.
@Carinna, To be honest I’ve never felt the urge to hand it over to him... what’s the benefit of doing that?
p.s. @Thunderdwarf,
You are aware that Aerie (or Jaheira & Viconia for that matter) doesn’t normally accept dwarfs as a love interest so you might want to consider one of the downloadable npc romance mods... I’d personally recommend Tashia but Amber will also lower herself to dwarfs with intel & charisma of 12 or higher.

Giving the mantle to either of them is kinda evil, as the entire town starts fighting each other. Perhaps you could argue that you didn't expect them to be so idiotic, but regardless the outcome is not a good one.

Thanks for all the answers everybody! I guess I should study the spell descriptions so I learn a bit for my self as well.
I have the G3 tweaks...It was kind of implied because of my race, but maybe I should have written it out.

I just have to add that Im totally in love with holy smite, what a nice little spell!
To rephrase my original question a little bit, what spells are (in your opinions) the most useful for my setup? Throw in your best tips, just because it's christmas!

It really depends, there are so many spells and combinations we can't just say use these spells and you're fine. You can check out some spell guides and search the old bioware forums.
I can tell you almost all divination spells suck. The most overpowered spells (if you know what you are doing) are: Project Image, Simulacrum, Mirror Image, Animate Dead (lvl 15+ caster), Skull Trap, Horrid Wilting, Spell Immunity, Spell Shield, Mislead and a couple of HLAs.

‘Sanctuary’ allows you to control when you fight or walk away... unlike invisibility you can loot chests /open doors to get the items you need without breaking stealth.
‘Silence’ is a seriously overpowered spell against any spell caster... the list of vanilla casters that protect against it is extremely small but be warned that using it all the time can break your game eg. Casting during the final battle of Mazzys quest will stop your game because he can’t give his epilogue speech.
Basic principles;
It’s your game and therefore if you want to try the direct damage spells then all power to you but remember that YOU ARE NOT A CLERIC... your spells are weaker and you have less of them so you’ll generally get better mileage from ‘Free Action’ than say ‘Mental Domination’ & just forget trying to turn anything until late TOB.

What's so great about Spell shield, other than the bug with beholder rays?

In Vanilla it's mostly unnecessary(*), but in SCS / SCS II it's hugely useful to protect against debuffs.
(*) In Vanilla, SI:A/SI:D + II will prevent spellcasters targeting you... which basically obviates Spell Shield.
