The fact that the Genesis comic didn't portray Feros just means that no choices necessary to the plot of ME3 happened there (unlike the rachni choice on Novaria).

I dunno if we'll hear about the Thorian or Zue's hope, but I'm pretty sure we'll at least run into Shiala again for those who let her live.

If much of player’s time is spent looking to accumulate resources to defeat the Reapers, I would think Feros could be an important planet to visit.

A colony was founded the planets surface to explore the Prothean ruins that covers 2/3 of the planets surface. It is true that much of the planet has already been plundered, but it is the express purpose of this colony to thoroughly explore the remnants.

Shepard actions in ME & ME2 have a direct impact on the vitality of the colony which leads me to believe that we will be visiting Feros once again. This would add to the impact and importance of the player’s decisions and the effort that went in to those previous encounters.

I don't know who wrote the comic but, it was pretty stupid to leave out Feros, the cipher help Shepard understand the prothean language and also Shila is the only known being that has been freed from indoctrindation with little or no damage done to her

Wouldnt it be awesome if the reapers developed their indoctrination process from the thorian race?

Not really, because the two methods are fundamentally different.

One is brainwashing. The other is 'I will hurt you until you do what I want.'

wasnt the thorian indoctrinated, or causing some indoctrination of some sort? i thought thats why i was taking out the thorian, not because it birthed asari commandos. but wouldnt that be important in ME3, a plant the can actually do things like that?

i really cant remember what the heck happened in ME1 anymore its been so long.

Correct.  The thorian can release spores or something into the air, when you breath they enter you and the thorian can control the spores.  its quite different from the reapers indoctrination.   and I doubt that the thorian was indoctrinated, but I could be wrong.

Shiala will play a big role If the thorian is included in ME3, but whether or not we go back to Feros is unclear.   I see no point for shepard to return to feros.  if anyone wanted thorian remains they would look for it themselves huh

Indeed, it wasn't indoctrinated. It had cooperated with Saren in giving away the cipher, but once the deal was done Saren betrayed it, thus starting the war on Feros between the geth and the Thorian's thralls at Zhu's Hope. Had it been indoctrinated this conflict would not have happened- the geth could have waltzed in and killed it without opposition.

Shame we had no option of saving it, as I would have done so without hesitation.
