Speaking of VS hate, a funny thing happened to me yesterday.

My friend is playing through the series for the first time and we got to talking about romance options. At one point she went "Ash and Kaidan? Ehh." Tempered in the fires of BSN, I thought she was dissing them and started explaining why I like them and she should ignore GameFAQs. (It's where we met and contains similar tomfoolery.)

She stops me and goes "wait a minute, I like them just fine. All I meant was that my particular Shepard doesn't seem like a good match for either of their personalities, that's all. They're cool. People hate them? Why?"

O, to be young again. Or something.

And Stardusk, you have made four threads about Kaidan and/or Ashley so far.  Personally, I don't make threads or post about characters I don't care about.  Perhaps you should think about the obsessive nature of someone who makes threads and posts about things they don't enjoy.

*sigh* It's not just a hardware obsession with Kaidan, it's his amazing software too. He's just a great guy all-around. Strong, caring, loyal, but with insecurities and weaknesses. Plainly, he is written very realistically, and that's what makes him so compelling for me. 

I like Jacob too, made a femshep just for his romance. But he will never be my favorite. It will always be Kaidan. <3
