[Frelled in STL]

I want to import a ME2 game save back into ME2 for replaying the game.  My first ME2 playthrough was done using an imported ME1 save.  When importing my ME2 save back into ME2, will the choices I made in ME1 still be reflected in ME2?  I would just import my original ME1 save in again, but my launch 360 died and for some reason I seem to have lost that original mass effect 1 save when I had transfered all my content over to the new HD.  I saved the counsil, Wrex, chose to save Ashley, my love interest was Liara, completed every quest, etc.  I don't particularly want to have to replay ME1 again, I would rather just import my first ME2 playthrough back in again and am hoping my original ME1 story choices carry over so I can use this new ME2 save as the one I import into ME3.  Anyhelp anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!
