Is there any way i can tie in this account with the EA account that I used to log into the Charactercreator?

AFAIK, your EA account should be the one you use for EA, this site, and the game. There's a login option at the bottom left in the character creator.

You can link your EA account to your Bioware account over at the old forums. If you do this before you login and setup your account here, the login process is easier.

I think that if you've logged in here with a Bioware account that is not previously linked to an EA account, you have probably created a new EA account, whether you realized it or not, as that seems to be the backbone of the user authentication system at this site.

Kingmob, try logging into the Character Creater with the email address tied to your account here.

I have an old Bioware account, a seperate EA account, and now an account here that may or may not be connected to either one.

None of this is a problem for I have been able to do all that I needed (primarily download the character creator).

Also - new forums!! I think I like them and is a catalyst for myself to get back into the social circles of Bioware and its supporters again. Maybe.

Time will tell.

This community site is totally awesome, especially for a beta.

I like that's it's not too heavy for my poor little dial up connection, but it's still slower than the old forums. Especially the custom portraits. I hope there's a way to turn them off, and if there isn't, I really hope they'll add that option eventually.

Its a beta and Bioware and EA do have some very talented Web programmers, so im sure they will find a way to optimise it furthur :)

Does this forum not have the ability to jump to the unread replies in a thread? I always get taken to the first post, whether I click the thread title or the little icon next to it which indicates new replies. And the indicator seems a little flaky as well, not always showing new posts when there have been.

Really? When I click on the threads, so far on this site four of them, I was taken to the last post posted. Not that my post helped you any just thought it was odd how you get taken to the first.

just wondering, why my old bioware profile wasnt imported while logging in here.<br />
and i bet, when i want to re-register my games i will get an error, that they are already registered by someone else, while in fact it was me.

I used an existing Bioware account to make an account here. I logged in with that I guess is what I did.

Nice layout, and great speed for now, it's really lightweight :). Hope it stays this way when it comes to ease of navigation.
