Hi,
Are there going to be any achievements on PC?
I thought there weren't but just now I somehow navigated to my player profile, and it has two headings - Characters and Achievements. Neither contain anything under them though.
This is the page I'm looking at, but I'm not sure if it will show up on your screen.

So, like.. does anyone have any idea what this Achievements thing is?
Thanks

Yes, but you can't transfer them to your Xbox or 360. But there is supposedly like 3 times as many on the PC.

Yeah. I heard there were something like 150 achievments for the PC, wheras the X360 gets some standardized-by-MS amount.

So where will these achievements be stored?
Are they steam based perhaps?
Evidently they aren't Games for Windows - LIVE based.. so what?
Are they perhaps attached to my EA account then?
Also when do we find out all the achievements?

They're attached to your Social networking account... Here, in other words.
Since you need to attach the game to an account here for the DLC etc to work.

Is it possible to change the email associated with my account here?

I don't think you can change your e-mail. Good chance you need to make a new one.
Don't take my word for it, though. And I too wish you could transfer achievements from the PC to the 360... Because I just like having all my achievements on one place. But hey, it's not that much of a biggy.

So, a BioWare RPG which seems to contain a huge replay value, DLC's on the release day AND 150 achievements? What more could you ask for?

Don't worry Khalek1, I am sure that there are a lot of people that are really upset at all the above. I mean come on, you know DLC on release day means that Bioware just wants money
(BTW I cannot wait for tuesday. Already bought the Digital whatever copy.)

Has there been any announcement about whether we'll be able to hide their achievements? Unless Bioware pulls off something special in terms of implementation they sound like an awful idea in a dark fantasy game.

You have to be logged in to your account while playing for your achievements to update onto the site. Just play offline if you don't want people to see them, though you will still earn achievements, they will not upload to the site.

Eeek... you would actually want to French kiss (or even hump) the dog? Yuck!
I know he's adorable, but that's definitely taking it a step too far... I didn't even want to picture that image, but you made me do it anyway.

Hi, DAO players and fans.
I have one problem.
I want to start a new game. Is there any possibility to reset the achievments?
In Mass Effect it is really no problem. For example you want to start a new game because you skilled the character wrong. It was a motivation to see that you reached the achievements again.
Thanks to all for your support!
Ron.
