Yep, but on the Normandy you can buy items from every store you visited in the galaxy, so it's easier and my LazyShep plans to be hella rich again so he'll be buying everything from the Normandy

Weapon customization are great, but armor is not so simple. The cool thing about ME2 squadmates (and DA2 for that matter) is that they each felt unique. So you have to find a balance between being able to improve/change your teammates armor without changing that identity.
