Weapon customization are great, but armor is not so simple. The cool thing about ME2 squadmates (and DA2 for that matter) is that they each felt unique. So you have to find a balance between being able to improve/change your teammates armor without changing that identity.

You can always have stuff like visors/glasses improving stats, additional armbands/extra plates all kept in style of their 'iconic' armors, or just simply mods as in weapons. Lots of possibilities

How about just update their appearance? DA2 had a system where you could update their armor. However, unlike DA2 where nothing changed visually, new parts are added to a squadmates appearance.

"James wanted to talk, so I invite him up, and we shoot the breeze about something he understandably didn’t want to discuss in public."

This made me laugh. xD

Neat read. I like how they integrate some gameplay elements into the story. I don't really see that very often. Thanks for sharing OP.

The Joker and Liara interaction got me really excited. I love non-Shep centric related banter :)

Nice blog, but I found an error. Turian Empire should probably be Turian Hierarchy.

I know it's a game mechanic, and one that they even poked fun at in ME2 through Mordin, but with the Reapers burning down the skies, wouldn't the Alliance at least just give Shepard a credit card and say "Spare no expense."?

Or at the Citadel, Shepard goes to a store and is able to "put it on my tab, the Council will take care of it"?

It's just a bit silly when you think too hard on things like this.

...my SWTOR CE is being delivered today and I'm ansy...

You know what your crew's been through
Black holes, space bowls
Zombie husks and Cerberus too

Haha, I was expecting to get tomatoes thrown at me. No idea what I was thinking when that popped into my head. Glad someone enjoyed it.

The whole blog made no sense at all. How is Shephard able to buy things when the Apocalypse is basically happening on a galactic scale? Stocks would crash and credits would be worthless!

Shephard casually wonders if he/she should go to the Citadel? Shephard has to!
The Citadel is basically a ripe field for harvest for the Reapers!

If Bioware seriously doesn't step up there game they should push it back till December 2012!

First things first: we’ve got some important diplomatic visitors aboard the Normandy as we try to coordinate war efforts between the Alliance and the Turian Empire. I talk with each of them, and hear their reactions to what happened on our latest mission.

There was a screenshot among the very first ones that came out, that showed a Salarian dressed like the Councilor aboard the Normandy. I can't find it anymore, but does anyone think the two are connected? Will we get representatives of our allies aboard the Normandy? Sort of like in DAO, only with more content.

Nice to see the crew acknowledge each others' presence on the ship. And it seems the fish are back as well. :D

If this is an indication of what down time aboard the Normandy is going to be like.

Oh. Hell. Yes.

Awesome.
