Liara's looks reverted to LotSB, or just weirdness?

More seriously, I'm slightly amused how people find Disney-eyed Liara to be "beautiful".

Disney-eyed?

Big wide open eyes. They inspire trust, honesty and some degree of naiveness to any character. Disney practically owns this design.

They all look the same, its just lighting. The only difference I can see is lipstick colour, and that hardly seems like something to get worked up about.

Though, I've always wondered what's up with her eyebrows when no other asari besides Benezia has them.

Could be facepaint of some kind - I didn't think Asari had hair. Although why you'd choose to paint eyebrows is beyond me, so I have no idea.

Asari do have hairs. They have eyelashes.

She doesn't look like that to me.

I don't get it, she looks the same way as she did in LOTSB.

That's because you are not seeing the difference in her lipstick color!

You can't even imagine the drama, the horror, the tragedy that such a change entails... on BSN.

Some asari seem to have pigmentation or possibly some tattoo pattern in their face that often includes the space where human eye-brows are located. But Liara obviously tries to mimic humans for some obscure reason (or she is a freak ;p). Bioware, we need a dialogue option where Shepard telling Liara he or she prefer her "au naturel".

Here's the simplest solution for Bioware. Provide an option to change a characters face, to the ones inprevious games. So Liara for example, would have an option for ME1 face, ME2 face or ME3 face. Everyone is happy.

Unecessary waste of resources that is.

Seems oddly specific for a skin pattern, though.

What's really funny is people don't consider Liara the s/s romance option when she, herself, is so clearly trying to mimic human females.. lol

Who cares what humans think it is though? I've never heard Liara refer to herself as a female.

The asari might be a monogendered speices, but to a human they appear like exotic woman. That being said, I think Liaras "eye-brows" are silly, at least without any explanation.

Because there aren't any monogendered species playing on Commander Shepard romancing Liara. Unless I'm mistaken. It's been known to happen from time to time.

Didn't Liara admit that she thought humans were kinda dumb before she met Shepard? I think those face patterns are more like birth marks rather than some sort of make-up.

Yes, yes. very convenient. If they are going with that, they could at least have made them like the Shialas.

Oh yeah, the eyebrows really worry me. I mean, I couldn't sleep last night just with the thought of it all.

Reposting. This is what we're getting in ME3. Better get used to it...or use TexMod to change it.

That's the best she's ever looked in my opinion.

Eyes look a bit strange. The most esthetically pleasing look, as for me:

Pinkish or light purple lipstick.

Those could easily be the same version of Liara just in different lighting.  On Sur'Kesh it is brighter and the light is hitting her directly, leading to a paler more "washed out" appearance.  The bluish lighting and softer tones in the second pic lead to more pronounced blues in Liara's skin tone.  Notice for comparison the whiteness of her lab coat; also, the secondary color on the coat in the Sur'Kesh pic looks more washed out purple while in the soft blue lighting in the second pic it's a more pronounced blue.

Let's just wait and see in the actual game, I'm sure Bioware won't make her look ugly.
