I'm a little disappointed that it looks just like the Valiant, which in its turn looks just like the Incisor.

It feels like they making sure those who didn't preorder [or c.e.] don't feel too left out. Its behavior has to be drasticly different from the Valiant's. That's where it's worth the money.

I'm more disappointed that the N7 Eagle looks like the Phalanx, though i'm pretty sure the picture of that has been taken down after someone complained of them advertising DLC weapons without any indication they were.

Posted Image

That's the only picture I can find of it now, ignoring the red X painted ontop of it. Looks like a brick... truly revolting.

A gun isn't supposed to appeal by looks.

Then again, that's the reason I like the Falcon so much more than the Valkyrie.

No dlc or prordered weapon has ever been able to outclass standard ones[the predator, the katana, the viper and the avenger] - the falcon is about to join that list.

Oh of course not, it's actual use is far more important than it's appearance but us humans are superficial so will care about this kind of thing.

Hell, I refused to use the Phalanx or the Mattock on my Infiltrator on ME2 because I deemed them both to be too bulky, I wanted Shepard to look somewhat like she (my Infiltrator was female) could actually Infiltrate an the huge appearance of the Phalanx on her side and the even more huge appearance of the Mattock on her back ruined that for me. Instead I opted to use the Predator and Vindicator because they visually fit the part of the character.

I agree.
I picked the valkyrie or the raptor just  because they're pretty, although i think they'll get the job done.

To be honest seeing as it is a video game we are playing there isn't exactly anything superficial in choosing guns/armour/whatever for aesthetic value

I try to convince myself that there's a logic behind my choices ( camo; blending with the surroundings ) but it's becoming increasingly difficult.Posted Image

Embrace the lack of logic, it is a value judgement!

The stock and the lack of trigger guard are the features that attract me on the valkyrie. The rest [ the barrel ] looks more functional on the falcon; I was surprised how good it looks wielded by Salarians.

Do we get actual numbers to go with those categories or is it just checking how much of the bar is filled?

Doesn't really matter since I predict by the end of the 1st week, someone will have broken down the bar into a spreadsheet...

Only question though...We still get heavy weapons but how do they work this time?

Do heavy weapons count as part of your weight?
Do heavy weapons use the same ammo system?
Can heavy weapons be modified?

The fact that Valkyrie is a two-shot weapon is what puts me off the most.

I don't like that at all.

*I had the suspicion we wouldn't be getting 'the full package'.

The upgrade for the assault rifle barrel looks like it belongs on a sniper rifle [as well as the *optic].

*maybe not the optic.

I thought the same. It's probably meant to be the other way, because the sniper rifle barrel looks like it's supposed to fit on an assault rifle.

It was briefly shown in the weapon loadout screen. No new info on what it is?

Looks like the sort of thing normally found on the end of a .50 cal anti-materiel rifle for suppressin the muzzle flash a bit.

Can't say I liked the way the silencer looked on the pistol...think it looks awkward because of the way ME pistols look.

Everyone keeps calling that 2nd rifle there the Phaeston having seen it held by Turian husks.

Totally with you on this! That's almost a replica of a *barrett 50 cal muzzle. Feel the same about supressed pistols: the 'silencer' should feel more like a barrel extention.

*It should fit perfectly on the widow or black widow - although it functions mostly as a stabilizer. Don't know about other sniper rifles though.

Wasn't the Collector armour, Terminus Armor and Cerberus Assault armour in one of the vids? The one where thet show the armour customisation and the interface for changing colours in it. I didn't get the impression it was in the multiplayer area, just the normal armour fiddling bit on the Normandy
