do you know if scope mods are functional and not mainly just cosmetic?

They're functional. If you put them on pistols, you'll get a nice little zoom and a crosshair to use. Like the sniper rifles' scopes.

Same thing if you put them on rifles. They'll compensate for movement and flinches from damage as well.

So well have the regular over the shoulder cam, the zoomed in veiw(pulling right trigger), AND a scoped view(clicking right analogue)?

That, I don't know, as I haven't tried it out for myself.

I'm sure it will work something like that, sort of like the Hammerburst in Gears of War 3

From Chris Presely
Prepare for the Reaper invasion today and secure your pre-order gear! Shrug off enemy fire with the N7 Defender Armor and its amplified shields then drop the opposition with high caliber fire from the N7 Valkyrie Assault Rifle. When the enemy has overwhelming numbers bring the M55 Argus Assault Rifle into battle and unleash rapid-fire bursts to even the odds. If the enemy gets too close, stop them dead with the AT12 Raider Shotgun and its superior firepower.

Check out the Mass Effect 3 Pre-Order Bonus Page for more details and links to screenshots and the Mass Effect 3 Gallery for new videos of the items in action and then pre-order now to make sure you are ready when the Reapers invade.

FAQ
Is the M55 Argus Assault Rifle included with the N7 Warfare Gear and Origin pre-order packs?

Yes, the M55 Argus Assault Rifle is a channel wide offer and available to everyone who pre-orders.
I don’t have a GameStop or EB Games in my country, where can I get the N7 Warfare Gear?

A full breakdown of regions and availability of pre-order offers is coming soon. You can also check with your local retailer for more information about available pre-order offers.
If I already pre-order the N7 Collector’s Edition, do I have to pre-order again to receive the pre-order items?

No, if you have already pre-ordered your pre-order will rollover and you will be automatically granted the items.
How do I unlock the items once I have pre-ordered?

Redemption methods may vary depending on platform and region. Please check with your retailer on how to redeem your pre-order content.
When will the pre-order content be available?

The pre-order items will be available on March 6th when Mass Effect 3 releases.
There seems to be some confusion due to the NA retailers listed on the page. To clarify:

GameStop customers

get the N7 Warfare Gear including the N7 Valkyrie assault rifle.
Everyone who pre-orders from any retailer

gets the M55 Argus assault rifle (so Gamestop customers who pre-order get this and the N7 warfare gear).
Origin pre-order customers

get the AT12 Raider shotgun and the M55 Argus assault rifle (as all pre-orders get the Argus)
Okay, what the hell, another exclusive weapon?

Yes, but keep in mind that with the clarification, only two are properly called exclusive. The Argus is for pre-orders in general.

Ha, I found the description of the omni-blade as well.

Although melee-combat applications for the omni-tool are almost as old as the device itself, the feature was largely unused prior to the Reaper invasion. The need to take on multiple husks in close quarters forced the Alliance to develop ways to enhance the tool’s offensive capability.
The most common melee design is the “omni-blade,” a disposable silicon-carbide weapon flash-forged by the tool’s mini-fabricator. The transparent, nearly diamond-hard blade is created and suspended in a mass effect field safely away from the user’s skin. Warning lights illuminate the field so the searing-hot blade only burns what it is intended to: the opponent.
More technically-adept soldiers frequently modify their omni-tools to maximize stopping power through electrical, kinetic, or thermal energy. Some troops integrate the weapon with their kinetic barriers, transforming the omni-tool into a wrist-mounted bludgeon; others fabricate flammable gases, held in place by a mass effect field and ignited upon impact. All prove deadly surprises for opponents who expect a disarmed Alliance warrior.

I like how Mass Effect field is sued

You don't think one is better than zero? Really? Is it just the term "better" you don't like? OK, how about "slightly less bad"?

Not when I think that gun should have been in the game from the start, no.

As I've said before, if they're so easy to obtain from a universe perspective, then why the hell are they not in the vanilla game?

We're not talking about some ideal situation. We're talking about what is actually the case.

This large a list makes me think that not all these will make it into the game, more might end up as pre-order/DLC down the road, the rest could be just early concepts and not even appear at all any point.

Someone With Mass. When you say that the m-99 is ruled out do you mean that it is cancelled or just not the weapon in the picture?

I'm happy that heavy weapons are not required.

I disliked seeing my Shepard with a bulky launcher on his back

I don't think it's the weapon in the picture.
Especially not after seeing that the turian husks are using that gun.

And the Phaeston just happens to be manufactured by the turians. Coincidence? I think not.

I haven't heard anything of a suppressor mod. Seems rather redundant as well for the most guns.

I'd guess that the material changes with certain mods.
Amazing info you got.
Sorry for just intruding like that; try to post something 2 days ago but only half came out. thanks for that info on weapons mods. looking forward to seeing if suppressed carbines, semi auto or bolt action rifles means we will be able to reduce targets in a single head shot ( in those lone wolf missions they talk about )-i heard a lot of weapons work a little bit like the scar[i'm not done reading the whole list] - you can change up the barrel and upgrade them into a more powerful version. would be cool if they could integrate stealth a little bit more like they did in arrival.
