It's rather weird that EA favors Gamestop with these bonuses, given that Gamestop is their nemesis as far as the used game sales thing goes.

Bingo.  Is EA still bleeding money?  No wonder with brilliant ideas like, "Used games are killing our sales!  Pre-order now exclusively at Gamestop."  and "Hey, there's this userbase of 30 million+ people that religiously buy games from a certain service.  Let's not offer our games everywhere but that service."

Does Amazon ever get any pre-order bonuses? I ordered the N7 Collector's Edition off of there... Might have to switch to Gamestop if they don't have something worthwhile.

Usually they just have $10 or $20 amazon credit towards video games, or maybe some crappy bonus. Worth it if you're not a huge fan of the game, and the credit would be nice, but if you want bonuses and all that, yeah, I'd switch to Gamestop.

Last time you got the crappy inferno Armor, but the thing was it was the only armor you could actually see shepards face, but they looked ridiculous in it. :P

I wonder if the pre order bonus armors will be in pieces.

If you mean mix and match with other armors, that would be awesome, but I sorta doubt it.

I'll love it if the pre-order and collector's armors from the previous games will be mix and match in Me3...

That was the best thing about Kestrel armor. I wish they would allow the same option for all the armor sets. :wizard:

I don't know if that will happen. Just because like in the DLC for the second game it would probably be easier to just give the full armor and not make it customizable. My main thing about it all is can I switch my armor's on the go like I did in ME 1, but that is an issue for a whole other thread. I think retailers would be to much if it was in pieces, but with the last armor they gave out and how it was in pieces was awesome and I mostly use that armor on my shepards.

Lovely, isn't it?

Hmm, interesting.... doubt I'll be using that armor for Shepard (I prefer the look and adaptablity of the N7 armor), but the rifle looks pretty cool and it will complete my set of N7 weapons that'll be included in the CE.

Well, it's a good thing that I preordered from Gamestop, at least I'll get a full set of N7 weapons. The armor looks like a reskinned version of Vega's armor (and the mp armor).

Apparently the Valkyrie AR is in the N7 Arsenal Pack (according to the Mass Effect Wiki). I wish the pre-order bonuses were the same for each store. I don't get why gamestop always gets exclusives, despite publishers and developers hating their used game sales. The only DLC that should ever remain exclusive (IMO) are the collectors' edition ones, as you actually paid extra money, and they are advertised as such.

Read the wiki again. It saids it is not included in the N7 Arsenal Pack. I do agree that the collector's edition bonuses should be the only exclusive bonus though. All the others should be release as DLC later on.

whoops, Some of it was written a little confusingly, but I don't get why it isn't (other than kissing gamestop's ass).

Could be worse. They could had made the whole N7 Arsenal Pack as a Gamestop exclusive.

It's a little odd, considering the AR is the only thing missing from it, as well as an AR was the exclusive for ME2. I'm really hoping that the ALL preorder exclusives become available after release.

Well the things that I've seen other game companies/games have done with pre-order bonuses, is later on after the game releases, you get that exact bonus on the Marketplace (Xbox Live, or whatever Markertplace they have for PC and Playstation), that was either free and/or you had to buy it. Which I thought was cool. Battlefield 3 had the Physical Warfare Pack was from Gamestop (and maybe other retails), and later on after the game released you could get it for free on the Marketplace. However, the SPECACT Kit from Best Buy (or other retails) I'm not sure if they have that on the Marketplace yet or are going to if they don't.

Anyway, when it comes to pre-order bonuses I think Mass Effect 3 should do it this way.

*To the OP*

I think having several sellers with different content for the games they sell is BS, look at ME2, even though I had the standard edition I still had all the content, it just wasn't activated or completed until I got the DLCs.

Now if after release they put out DLCs for all or most of the pre-order content (CE excluded ofc) I'd be fine with that. all in all its bad business in my opinion to force you to either buy all the different games or go without, when I buy a game I expect to get the full deal the second I hand over my cash, but I'd be more then willing to pay a few bucks for DLCs for that content later on, such as the defender armor etc etc *looks beast!*

Ok that's all for now folks! Enjoy!

I see your point because it feels unfair and that is the problem with most people not wanting to get all the rich content involved. Now the only reason I'm getting the collectors additions is because its the final game in the saga which I have started sense the game first came out.  I want all the DLC because I'm a customization ****. Not all players are like that.  I felt the same way because I couldn't let my friend have this awesome armor I got from GAmestop, but at the same time. I can see the point of the retailers who want to have people come to their store. DLC is the extra thing they can give to people who shop at their store. It makes sense competition wise, but when it comes down to it the player will always get the full exclusion for the content. Its called "Competitive marketing for  a reason. Who know's maybe Bioware will offer that DLC a couple months later like they did with the Sniper rifle and inferno suit from ME 2. :P
