I only post in a couple of forums and I would like to pass my Christmas message here also.

It has been a very long and difficult year in the real world. At this time in the many past years I would have been so much into the holiday season you would think I was old Saint Nick himself.

Growing older can sometimes change the way people see things or at the very least seeing too many things that have changed (for better or worse) since being a young tot.

This Christmas I've seen something I've never seen before; people forgetting that it is Christmas. I've seen far too many strangers that I've greeted with seasonal verve and in turn have been greeted with blank stares. This makes me sad.

Is it because it's a very Green Christmas this year? Are people are struggling to make ends meet? Has the culmination of a difficult year taken its' toll? I don't have the answers but I can look into my heart.

What I do know is I had to reach deep down inside my soul to bring back what Christmas means to me.

I can only tell you what Christmas means to me and will not force any view points on any one. The birth of Jesus and my faith. Spending yet another miraculous Christmas with my 92 year old mother (and no one knows how many we get to share in our lifetime). Remembering the simple but good times growing up as a child and all of the smells, wonders and excitement that the holidays brought. Having my family, friends and the love of my life at this time and throughout the year.

Yup, it has been a difficult year but the true gift of the year is the memories of the past and the new ones in the future.

My wish this year is that you too will remember the past and look to the future and that "your heart will grow three sizes" too. Please also take the time to help make new and good memories with those who are less fortunate than you, even if it is anonymous in nature as there are many who can't remember the true spirit of Christmas anymore. Lend a hand. Feed someone who is hungry. Just listen to those who have no one left to share their stories with.

God bless and Merry Christmas to those who read this message and yes, even those at E.A.; you've all been a part of my life and my memories and I would not change that for anything.
