It looks like mission textures in the pic, so I would try a reinstall unless you have Steam then do the verify cache integrity.

Or go to 'repair' in the configuration utility and click on 'delete local shader cache'.

I have the steam version and am having a hard time finding this file.  Do you know where I can find the repair conficuration utility for mass effect?

Steam doesnt give you access to the ME1 config utility, so you will have to manually search for a file called masseffectconfig.exe
