the iDeal payment option in the Bioware store is broken and shows Moneybookers wallet instead.
When I inspect the elements on the page is shows that the Ideal has the exactly the same codes as the moneybookers, but only has a diffrent name and picture on the site.
please fix it soon so i can buy points using iDeal

Same here. When you select iDeal, the next page shows you selected Moneybookers.
Bioware, please let us know if you've verified / fixed the problem. We really want to give you our money! :-)

Same problem, it changes to moneybookers..
Origin is more expensive, so I rather use the Bioware site for this.
The Dragon Age dlc I can get through Steam with the Ultimate edition, but I still need the points for Mass Effect 2..

Origin is not only more expensive, I also need to buy more points!!! I need 1680 points, so if i buy from Origin i have to buy 2400, because they only sell 1600 and 800 points.
In the end I pay double for the DLC I want!!!!!!

Guys it's not broken. You need a Moneybookers account in order to do an iDEAL payment here.

Posté 19 février 2012 - 04:21
That's bollocks, iDeal should not require a Moneybookers-account.
Still not solved. Really disappointed about Bioware right now.

Problem still not fixed and only 3 days till mass effect 3 comes out.
Come on Bioware changing the HTML codes inside the payment page to correct this error takes only 20 secs to do

Wel guys i just tried to go trough official channels to have this problem rectified
After being passed around like a footbal by the forum moderators.
I finaly was able to get a link from "Chris Priestly" who directed me to the https ://help.ea. com/ site.
After joining a live chat session i spent about an hour arguing with several (as they cal them there ),
Game Advisors.
After first trying to blame myself and my connection and i quote
"this is the issue related to proxy serever
please contact to yoour I S P."
I spent around another half hour explaining that they did not protect their HTML codes and that i could read the entire site including the coding that was flawed.
I wont bore you with the details but in short its a simple 1 word error that takes 5 seconds to fix if anyone cared to take a look.
Finally after referring them to several of the threads on this forum regarding this problem the Advisor
Promised me this "quote"
Akhil: Okay thank you for your explanation i will forward this to our development team
"Unquote"
So lets hope they have fixed this soon and we can all buy the DLC's and crack open that Mass effect 3 game that we have lying on our shelves and are not playing because we don’t know the full story.

Still not fixed.... however 800 bioware (5 euro) points are on sale right now on origin, so it's actually cheaper right now
So i just got em there. thought i'd share for the people still waiting.

CONFIRMING this issue, I'm eager to add bioware points to add the last important DLC to my mass effect game series by using the iDeal method. However everytime when i select the iDeal option and go to the next step the site selects the Moneybookers option everytime as payment method instead. Each of the other payment links seems to work as intended. For me it's only possible to purchase by using the iDeal option so this is a very ANNOYING site malfunction there!.
looking forward to a FIX soon!.

Al right... Since it seems most here don't understand...
Straight from the iDEAL website:
Straight from the iDEAL website:
In other words: Moneybookers is in this case the CPSP. It is working as intended. Nothing weird is going on. Lots of other sites use Moneybookers and we're actually lucky they're supporting iDEAL since not many international companies do.Is iDEAL alleen bedoeld voor Nederland of kan het ook internationaal gebruikt worden?
