First of all I was almost all the way Paragon when I finished Jack's loyaly mission and when I got back to the Normandy when her and Miranda were fighting, the Paragon and Renegade options were locked, so I had to tell Jack to stop and she became unloyal. Then Legion was loyal but he still died. I put Garrus in the secondary team, Samara doing the barrier, Mordin taking the team back and Legion opening the valvaes and he still died. Everyone was loyal except Jack because of the reason above. Also I didn't do any other mission when the suicide mission activated I went straight to it with all the Normandy upgrades and I only saved Chakwas and Gabby. I thought that if I went directly to the suicide mission I wouldn've saved everyone.

Was Garrus leading the team on that mission, and are you sure Legion was loyal, after the confrontation with Tali? Because with the conditions you describe Legion couldn't have died.

If all else fails try to figure it out from here. http://social.biowar...5/index/5855452

Yes 100% sure he was loyal, he had they alternative grey costume and he still died. After the confrontation with Tali they all ended with an agreement. I'll check out the link you sent me, thanks. I still don't know why the Paragon conversation option was locked when Miranda and Jack were fighting.

By that chart I had everything right, except Jack being loyal because (again) of the issue I stated above. I'm currently doing another playthrough. Would you suggest me doing all the side missions after I survived the suicide mission?

That one is a pretty rough check. You pretty much need all the paragon points available at that point. It helps to respec into the class specialization that gives the 100% bonus instead of 70%.

The persuasion checks are not based off what shows on your bar, but what percentage of the total available to that point in the game.  It helps to start with an ME1 import due to the bonus paragon/renegade points you get on import.  If it's not your first playthrough and you don't object to a little save editing, you can grab Gibbed's save editor and pretty much get any result you're looking for.

Here's a link for that. http://social.biowar...m/project/4241/

If you want to keep Legion alive and have a save from before that point, you might try and replay from before that point and use Miranda or Jacob as the fire team lead.

I imported a level 60 character with all the side missions finished. It is not the first time I've completed ME2 I just don't know what went wrong this time. I'll play the game again because I want the perfect continuation to ME3.

Check who's leading the other party on the first part. I think that the tech expert dies if either they or the first fireteam leader aren't loyal or ideal for the role (I lost Legion this way on my first playthrough due to losing Miranda's loyalty).

Did you tinker with anything under the hood, i.e. any files modified? Or could possibly have run into an issue with where you keep your saves on your PC?

All I could figure is that something happened to your save file with what you said happened with the crew.

So you could try to fix it with the editor, and also provide an artificial boost to one of your scores to be able to pass the check.

And for a future run through the game, if you are not trying to max up certain upgrades, you could first get all of the recruitment missions done, then doing Arrival and LotSB if you have them, before taking care of the loyalty missions. Then begin with the loyalty missions as they were unlocked.

I've tried this type of order twice, and will do so for a last run for ME3.

In my opinion, to keep your team alive during the suicide mission, get all those upgrades for the Normandy and upgrades for every character. I've been told if Legion is used as the tech for vents but isn't upgraded, he would die. I've used this order to keep everyone alive for the last two games and Its worked like a charm:
Vents - Legion
1st Squad Leader - Garrus
Shields - Samara (or Morinth)
2nd Squad Leader - Garrus
Escort - Jacob
Final Team - Garrus and Thane

As for the Miranda vs. Jack incedent, I sided with Jack and then talked with Miranda after they parted post - fight and Miranda has the "Be the Better Woman" option (as you said you were nearly full paragon) and it works, some say that you need 100% Paragon to convince her, but that isn't the case, however you do need a condsiderable amount. You could try talking to Jack since you said you sided with Miranda, and see if you can convince Jack.

Hope this helps :)Posted Image
