I played through DA2 multiple times on my last 360 (Pro with 120gb hdd) and had the Exiled Prince + Legacy DLC...I recently bought the new 250gb version and a transfer cable and moved everything over. I'm assuming title updates don't transfer, as I've had to pull one down for every game I've played since. I also bought a digital copy of DA2 over the XBL marketplace and, upon starting the game, I received no title update prompt. Have tried restarting, backing out to the menu and launching the game again...game says I'm at version 1.0. When I try to load a save that is mid-Legacy, I'm told it can't load because I require the latest title update. But for reasons I can't seem to figure out, I don't seem to be capable of acquiring it.

Help please?

No...I had a friend bring their disc copy over to see if throwing that in might prompt an update - at first I got excited; the prompt came up as it was supposed and it went through a process that should have resulted in a patched copy. However when I loaded the game up off of my HDD, the version still read as 1.0 and I was unable to load a mid-Legacy save. Further, I tried putting the hard copy in again (post-supposed patch) and THAT version read as 1.0 as well. Where was the patch data placed?? Legacy seems to be entirely off limits. I did try as another character who'd yet to go through Legacy to boot up the Mark of the Assassin DLC and that DID work.

well im like just outof the expedition to the deeproads. no other character will load either.. guess i´ll just have to start all over for the 5th time... tanx for your awnser anyway

I realize this is old, but it looks like the problem is related to something in the Games on Demand version. I still have my disc for the game as well & if I launch the game from the disc, I can load certain save games without issue. If I launch the purely digital version they error out on "missing title update" with no other information.

I'm going to try opening an "official" support ticket somehow & see if it can be fixed...
