 Hello

Just looking for the community thoughts. I want to start a discussion about the Reapers "reproducing" process.

When you go hit the Collecters base you discover they where attacking human colonies to creat a Reaper with Human DNA, this one looks like a giant Human(I didnt really like that) and IDI(is that the correct name?) tells you thats the way the Reapers reproduce.

Supostly, they do this with every species they annihilated for creat a new reaper each time. So, we can assume the reapers have the form of the especies that they use and then assamble the entire ship armor and stuff around them to become a full Reaper(when they look like Sovereign).

What are your Thoughts about it?

There is no proof that is what they do but only a guess on EDI's part. Not all spieces seem to work for the reaper building process. As it turned out human DNA worked just great for reasons explained throughout the game. It is also possible that TIM was somewhat right that maybe just maybe the reapers gained a little respect for us after we killed Sovereign.

The collectors getting obscure samples of various races was probably part of the investigation to see which species would be suitable.
(they have presumably been attacking spaceships and abducting more normal samples leaving the attacks to be blamed on space pirates, accidents, etc).

From the 2 options we get out of the post I belive the first one is the one with more chanses to be, and what Magna Carter says is a good pruve of it. Probably the choose humans for Shepard, but looking for other species samples pruves is more a reproduction proces thant an specific event.
I see it that way and agree with Magna Carter.

Greeting and thanks for taking a part in the post. I hope more people gives his opinion.
