I really imagine of a tug of war match Legion and Liara had over Shepards armor.
That's why only a fragment of Shepard's armor is welded to Legion's chest. Each has their own piece.

I'm sure that Liara has shrine to Shepard somewhere in her apartment.... she seem the type. Also now that she is like crazy super biotic I fear for those who try and compete with her.
I bet she has a part of Shepard's skin "welded" to her chest too. If it's dudeShep's, it includes chest hair.

Yes. Legion has a shoulderpiece and Liara has the breastplate.
I have the legplates and helmet.

In LotSB, we actually see that Liara does indeed have a display for remnants of Sheps armor.Mr666 wrote...

I would have preferred if they kept with the hunter approach they had planned originally. It sounded more interesting.iOnlySignIn wrote...
Rumor says that Legion was designed to be a creepy stalker in the beginning. It was changed into a Shepard fanbot only very late in development.

I've got to give Legion credit for being pretty subtle with his crush on Shepard, though. He plays it cool. Imagine if you were wearing the discarded clothing of someone you were infatuated with and they confronted you about it and all you said was "it was cold," and then continued wearing it.

I also look at Legion as having something from a hero. The way he talked about Shephard in ME 2 when you ask him about the heretics and reapers sounds like he clearly admires him in the way a child sees their favorite sports star to me anyway.

I agree, it is not creepy.Newnation wrote...
I don't really see it as being creepy. Liara has a momento of something of his/hers to remember them by. I have my grandfather's watch and bracelet he made in the 1930's that he wore all the time. Does that make me creepy?

I agree with you.
I also agree that Legion may be developing emotions, as a memento invoques the idea of affection or admiration. It would be interesting to see where they go with that. I mean, the geth already border the line between man and machine, but to see them display emotion, especially Legion, would most likely make the character a bit quirky and more interesting in my opinion.

Did your dad get shot wearing the watch and is it busted from where the bullets hit it?
Yes I find keeping something someone died in in a case (especially since it's someone you know and they died recently). Creepy. It's more like keeping someone close to you shirt that they got murdered in, in a case (with holes in it from the murder weapon) and leaving it on display. I find that immensely creepy.
It's just as creepy as Conrad's shrine to Shep IMO (if he has one. Which...well it's Conrad. Wouldn't be surprised).
That said it is a YMMV but I would LMAO if Shep had the option of telling Liara he/she thought that was damned creepy.
Legion's pretty creepy too but he has the virtue of being a robot to turn it from creepy stalkerness to d'aaaaw. Liara doesn't have that excuse.

No he wasn't violently killed in them but he was wearing them when passed. As I said I don't think keeping a momento of someone who was close to you that died is creepy at all regardless of if they wore it or not. Some people take a lock of their loved ones hair after they die. Its just a keepsake to remember them by.Ryzaki wrote...

Conrad on the otherhand doing something like that or having a shrine is creepy as hell. Conrad reminds me of a stalker who tells someone that they are meant to be togethor after meeting someone once and then days later is served with a restraining order.

Like Ryzaki said, I wouldn't want to keep the shirt of a murder victim in a case in my living room. No matter how much I thought of them. Now one of their rings or necklaces sure why not. However I don't think I'd display it in my living room.

Nah... it's not creepy. Legion developed some kind of hero worship, Shepard fights the heretics, Shepard fights the old machines. And Liara, well... Shepard is from what we know, her best friend, her first crush, her first role model, when her mother died Shepard was there... I don't find her obsessed with Shepard, she just truly enjoys of his/her company as a brother or sister and as lover.

1. Romanced: Liara personally digs up your dog tags and gives it to you in Lotsb.
2. Unromanced but friendship continued : Liara gets contacted by Hackett and he gives her the tags and she returnes it to you.
3. Strictly professional: Shepard dosen't allow Liara in the Normandy. Liara sends it back to Anderson. You get your tag from him.
4. LOTSB: Not done, you get the tags from Anderson.
Also keeping the Armor is NOT creepy. Because this is not a pair of underwear is a piece of ARMOR. A relic from Shepards battles. Shepard is the saivour of the galaxy keeping his armor is the equivalent of having the space age Excalibur.
An armor represents a warriors pride and honour. Just like Wrex wanted his family armour despite what his family did to him. Liara kept shepards Armor as an honouring to the greatest hero the galaxy has ever knows.
There is nothinp creepy about it. After Me3 that Armor would be worth billions to collectors.
