For some reason when I think about Shepard v.s Leng, I have to think about Leon v.s Krauser (from Resident Evil).

I suspect that a fight between Shepard and Leng could go a littlebit like this:

Personally, I hope they keep his look a huge surprise and don't show him in any vids or screens. Also Kai Leng a sue? LOL don't make me laugh, you must be confused with Kahlee, the biggest Sue in the ME series.

First off lets set the record straight shall we, shephard can be killed hes mortal but he defied death with a lil help from you know who how many times over before the collectors spaced and planet sided mr.N7
ME1 1.shephards backround what ever u picked ok whatever.
ME1 2.You survive the battle of the citadel killed the councils top spectre and oh yea killed a reaper and killed thousands of geth while doing it.
ME2. Shepard dies helping a crippled and saving his crew bad ass,Billion if not more was spent to revive shep
ME2. recruited a kickass crew blew up not just the collectors but an freaken solar system just to give earth more time from the reapers
ME3. MR.N7 Kicks kai lengs ass one on one hand to hand combat end of story, yea shep can be killed but you really think kai leng can take shep epic fail

^Again your under estimating Kai Leng abilitie's (sp), Kai Leng specialises' in Hand to hand combat/CQC, he had N7 training like Shepard, but Shepard training is differenet to Kai Leng it would most likely be over all balanace in all area's of combat, If (s)he fought Kai Leng in one on one in CQC/hand to hand Kai Leng will kill Shepard every time, If Shepard is to have a chance againt Kai Leng it will have to be from a distance, but Kai Leng do what he can to deny Shepard that advantage

I think the opposite. Miranda was devoted to Cerberus, but the defection was done so that the player could have had the final choice, and wouldn't have to kill Miranda if he took the anti-cerberus option (no spoilers!). If Leng was also a Cerberus devotee, then that puts him in the same position as Miranda. If the palyer makes the anti-Cerberus choice, then he has to kill Leng because the Cerberus devotion in him would demand that he oppose Shepard-Commander.
And there goes an important character from the MEverse, shot through the chest, legs and eyeballs by the Galaxy's saviour...

I have never really seen Miranda as being a true Paragon, seeing as she makes attempts to try and defend Cerberus projects such as the one on Pragia in one form or another. She is still pretty cold when you first get onto the Normandy and start talking to her to try and get to know a little bit more about her. Her Loyalty mission is when she finally starts to really soften up and get a bit more like an actual human being with actual problems. Even then she still comes off more as a Paragade considering she would prefer the most effective end for a mission than the right way to end it. Her quitting Cerberus when Shep refuses to preserve the base is pretty much a culmination of the growth of her character as she has changed enough to agree with Shepard, something that didnt happen often enough since Shep wasnt a Cerberus supporter and she was a Cerberus hardliner, and tell TIM to screw off.

Having Kai in the game in her place would have easily lead to there being a bloody exchange on more than one occasion in ME2 as I could see Kai killing or trying to use more direct and forceful means to get the overall objective to a mission done, like just shooting Veetor, even if Shep wanted to hand him and the Omnitool data over to the Quarians.  I can see where having a more hardline and antagonistic Cerberus member on the team would have its merits, but considering the history he has with some of Shep's friends to start with, I doubt that Kai would be hanging around for long if anyone on the team knew what Kai had been involved with.

Of course, my knowledge of Kai Leng comes solely from what I hear on the boards and what I have read on the ME wikia, so I may be off on a few things I have said.

 I'll be disappointted if that's how Shepard kills Kai Leng, The fight should be a very close one I want to Kai Leng Sheed (sp) some of Shepards blood

This won't happen. Kai Leng is an author's darling. If he's treated in the game anything like he is in the novels, you will have to fight him at least twice, probably three times. Before you are able to kill him, he'll get some cheesy escape enforced by cut scene. You might injure him, but he'll drag himself away to a clean escape even with two broken legs.

Dude's a villain sue, godmode variety.

Shepard would be a Mary Sue in most works, but in Heroic/Romantic Fiction he is simply a champion/hero.  Like how Aragorn or any other member of the Fellowship is always badass at killing orcs.  That's just what heroes do.

Same goes for Kai Leng.  That's just what heroes' worthy adversaries do.  They "Mary Sue" the hell out of it.  That's what it takes to be a nemesis of a larger than life hero.

Shep IS a Mary Sue.
There is more to Mary Sue than jsut how many enemies he/she kills. It has more to do with how the character is portrayed and how others react to the character.

Not exactly important who wins in close combat anyway, Leng is going to be taken down sooner or later in the game anyway how it's achieved don't really matter one way or the other.

Well, if you hate her, you might be glad to know you can kill her off in ME3.
At least some good comes from the scripts.

Alas, that requires a specific violent biotic squadmate to be decesed.

Godmodes don't break their legs, mind you.

I think I've said it before, but it's really only that scene that I have any sympathy for people calling him a Sue for. Taking a few Turians by surprise, not so much considering how many people Shepard blows up on a regular basis.

Meh, don't listen to this guy. The first three are excellent. Deception, not so much.

Leng's killing of three armed and armored turians is explained well enough. Some (rather, most) people didn't read this scene and assumed he just kicked their asses by himself with no cover or surprise advantage whatsoever. Killing a krogan with a knife is a bit ridiculous, but it makes sense to use something like that to help further how much of a badass he is. He's practically a full renegade and ruthless Shep, commanding his own squads at some points.

Unless Leng has undergone some really serious upgrades since the 3rd book, which he apparently has.
