 If the game is going to have new romances then that seems to imply a new female character to go with Vinny Vegas?  Has there been any information regarding her?? MInd you I really do not care about new romance options (prefering to continue from the earlier games) but a new character to interact with would be interesting.

Well the new female character isn't really "new" per se. She's also not a love interest for spoilery reasons

James' opposite number for romance seems to be Liara. There are no new female characters who are romanceable.

According to the spoilers she's a new crew member who is not a squadmate. Same with the new male romance. As for Vega's opposite, Red by Full Metal Jacket up there has it right.

Granted, this is all from spoilers that may or may not be true, so ymmv.

Alrighty then, here goes:

It's EDI in the body of a sexbot. Once again, I am not kidding.

You encounter the sexbot itself during the Mars level, which I believe is where you'll go right after Earth. After deactivating this new servant of TIM, Shep and co take its body with them and EDI will inhabit it for the rest of the game.

The other new squaddie is possibly even worse than this one, although that one should be known to you by now...

That attempt seems incredibly lazy on the writers part. If they were going to go through the trouble of making new members instead of keeping the old ones, they should have made an effort to make them interesting.

Someone didn't read the script all the way through...

Plus, I find both of them to be a hell of a lot more interesting than most characters.

Oh, and the other guy isn't as far-fetched as some people think. I mean, *spoiler*the Protheans having more than one batch of stasis pods? As in, they didn't put all their faith in the secret project on Ilos and there's absolutely no hint that the stasis technology was exclusive to that research facility? Who would have thought?

Oh, right. Some people can't like anything just because their choices didn't change the galaxy as we know it, even though the same people said that they don't want Shepard to be a demigod.

There is a new female squad mate (kind of new)...but she's not an LI for Shepard.
