Hi guys,

I am reinstalling BG for the first time after 3 years and this time I intend to use the BigWorldProject and a custom mega-mod install.

My question is, if anyone has tried to install BP-Ascension together with SCS I and II and what was the result.  Unfortunately, after searching in the respective forums, I haven’t read about any specific incompatibility issues or bugs, although the general consensus seems to be that these mods should not be combined at the moment.  

I am asking here, because I know that many of you are playing games with many tactical mods installed and I would like to know which is the most challenging (difficulty-wise) setup in BGII.

I've not used BWP, but Ascension and SCS/SCS2 are compatible. I suggest you look at what the SCS2 readme has to say about BP-Ascension and SCS2.

SCS is not only compatible but it also fixes a long lasting incompatibility between the G3 Fixpack and Ascension.

Thanks guys, but I was asking about BigPicture's-Ascension. I know that the weidu Ascension is compatible with SCS.

My intention was to install BP (AI enhancement mod) together with SCS I and II and (ideally) to have the AI improvement from both mods. Problem is that there is not enough feedback for compatibility between these 2 mods.

If there is a difference at all don't you think BP's version should be even more compatible? I mean isn't that the whole reason for the project?

Seems you'll need some tweak for the Xvart village.

Works in theory. In practice, though, I don't really recommend BP-Ascension plus SCS. I've had some bad rorts. Stick to the original.
