Which would grant me more political power if I spared Loghain (dies killing Archdemon) and put Alistair & Anora on throne.. Because I've heard that if I spare Loghain then Alistair will have Anora deal with me and she just ignores me? Is this true?

Anora is not likely to allow a chancellor to have political power. In a system like Ferelden's, it's much more useful to own a fiefdom (there is a reason why Louis XIV wanted nobles to live in Versaille. He was keeping them away from provinces, their old power base).

I see chancellor being only useful if Alistair rules solo, being easy to manipulate and not that interested in ruling. Otherwise, I'd go for the Ternir.

And since the chances of Anora and Alistair having a child is low the Teyrn position has a chance to influence who takes the throne next.

A lot depends on what you do with Loghain. If you kill him, Alistair tends to support the Chancellor over Anora. If he lives, Alistair tend to support Anora over the Chancellor. That might hold true in a solo Anora campaign-I'm not sure. If you want to have power as Chancellor-kill Loghain.

Thanks for the replys and your input =D.. Ok so if I spare Loghain at the landsmeet then I should pick Teyrn of Gwaren over Chancellor.. What if I kill him at the landsmeet.. Would Chancellor give me more power and more ability for my Warden to Shape Ferelden to his liking than a Teyrnir or do you think a Teyrnir would still be better for that?

I wanted to mention that it's unhardened Alistair that supports the Chancellor-not hardened.

Yes, if Alistair is hardened pick the Teyrn.
